The only good thing for me was when I read "Music: Anand Milind". Finally some respect. This must be the first time in the history of remakes that the music director and lyricist got credited at top, without having any involvement in the the version's making.

This isn't a remake, its jhankar 😆 Bagchi has only added some additional sounds to the original song. Heck most of the programming is from the original.

Did anyone notice Bagchi only got credited as programmer?! Gazab bezatti hai yaar!!!

The original had alot of going on even in terms of sounds, whatever new sounds were added here felt repetitive.

Govinda and Karishma were effortless in the OG. Everything seemed too forced here. Imo Varun and Sara went overboard with their expressions...Sara should've done what she did in Aankh Maare, looks like the pressure got to her.

And was I the only one who found the choreography vulgar? What Ganesh Acharya had done was brilliant.

It looked like Oonchi Hai Building 2.0 in terms of costumes, cinematography and choreography.

Yes it was overly too sleazy (to the point of being awkward) for no reason, reminding me of some rubbish 90s/00s Telugu films.... I like Sara and I don't mind Varun either but honestly no clue why they thought this remake was necessary!

Nah. She's supposedly 5'4 and when you see them both bare foot in pajamas he's about 4-5 inches taller.

Im just glad they kept the original sound and singers.

Also i cant understand Varun going OTT here in his dancing... at one point i thought he would smack Sara by mistake lol. Varun wasnt OTT when he did First Class, or the Dulhania series like Aashiq Surrender hua or Badri title song, that all seemed natural... (by the way Varun and Alia have the best chemistry and pairing i find, well from the current lot)

Also no one can do comedy and dancing naturally like Govinda.... when he does it, its dont look cringey or odd, its natural. Even Karisma has charm, she will always be my fave actress from the Kapoor Sisters...

@bold: I thought the same lol. Probably they manipulated their positions while dancing and used different camera angles.

Govinda and Karishma had set a very high benchmark. Both were incredible and effortless. I think both Varun and Sara took lots of pressure and ending up trying to imitate the duo instead of being themselves. Coz if u hear the song, its really nowhere close to the OG, the added sounds kinda ruin it...the actors took it upon themselves to make up for the okayish remake.

Varun's not a bad dancer, in fact I had noticed it in SOTY, his solo in Radha. Sara is not that bad but again, he is no Govinda and she is no Karishma.

Karishma is my all time favourite, her charm and cuteness was another level ❤️

She says she is 5'4" so maybe she is 5'3".. N he is hardly a couple of inches taller than her.
