Govinda and Karishma had set a very high benchmark. Both were incredible and effortless. I think both Varun and Sara took lots of pressure and ending up trying to imitate the duo instead of being themselves. Coz if u hear the song, its really nowhere close to the OG, the added sounds kinda ruin it...the actors took it upon themselves to make up for the okayish remake.

Varun's not a bad dancer, in fact I had noticed it in SOTY, his solo in Radha. Sara is not that bad but again, he is no Govinda and she is no Karishma.

Karishma is my all time favourite, her charm and cuteness was another level ❤️

Agree!! I grew up watching her, so she was always my fave actress.

She's wearing wedged sneakers in a lot of the video but where they are both in bare feet in the purple pajamas standing side by side he's easily 4-5 inches taller.

What a terrible piece of remake. I think Sara did bette rthan Varun, as someone said, Varun is jumping onto different couches. Ohh this makes me say Govinda was a legend, I just re-watched the original song and how fabulous and energetic was both Govinda and karisma. Pata nahi David dhawan konse janam ka badla leraha hai govinda se, aise beizzati kon karwata hai

Govinda is unmatchable, look at his energy and expressions.

I don't think anyone can match Govinda in dancing, so not sure why anyone is expected to match him. it's a remake so of course the comparison, but no-one really expected to match so a completely different style of picturization.

and David dhawan has his style so of course this song will remind you of his former songs. every director has that signature song type

compared to the songs out now and in the recent past, this is very catchy, has dance, has chemistry. so I like it and am hooked to it. varun and Sara look great and dance great. completely natural in the David dhawan masala film. and I like that Sara is a normal body type, without a surgically enhanced anorexic type.

and in the least it made people appreciate govinda and Karisma again.

and for karisma, it took her a while to reach her groove, from wikipedia

Govinda moves very well for a chunky guy but he can be matched and surpassed in dance - though not by Varun even though he's more attractive.

Karisma was 17 when she started out and even then >>>>> SAK who is not a dancer though she seems game to have fun.

This is the best promo piece released by the film by far. It's not dreadful but rather watchable and playfully fun even if it is mediocre.
