Yeah 100%. I think Dev's issues were magnified because Rhea refused to take a backseat to him, whereas Rani's character was more of a school teacher/not wearing the pants kinda gal. She did feel that Rishi was not grown up enough for her, which was not the case with Dev.

I think it would have worked out- while both were selfish and kind of awful- they definitely were compatible and considering by the end SRK's character was isolated from everyone- his ex wife, his kid and even his own mother and Rani was an orphan- they would've clung to each other.

The movie made me sick because of the cheating but that’s reality for some.

I think Maya was more indebted to Rishi and his dad and don’t think she even considered Rishi her friend. If she did, she would have told him about her feelings and expressed herself better. It was more like they looked after me so now I have to pay back.

Dev on the other hand grew bitter and instead of seeking help from a professional and getting over the tragedy he started resenting his life and the wife’s success didn’t help much.

Rishi and Rhea were great partners but they were stuck with someone full of insecurities, resentment and regrets. Even if they sacrificed their life, Dev and Maya would look at it as ehsaan instead of love.

I think their marriage would work out in the long run because they both fell in love and connected with each others insecurities. Dev already had a child so Maya will be less guilty of not giving him a child and to me it didn’t look like she wanted a child for herself ever. For Dev he probably was happy not starting a family due to his inability to provide for a secure future.

I just got happy at the end that Rishi and Rhea moved on nice and quick as it just shows how much they were deprived of love and happiness.

Totally agree, uske paiso pe pal raha hai usi ko din raat aise treat karta rehta tha, be faltu k guilt me dalte rehta tha whereas all she tries was to make a good living for them

If only the film did away with unnecessary gloss , those too “put together” kinda costumes , and song numbers and dance numbers , it was a very well written drama

Each character was flawed but each char in some way evoked empathy (some Way more than others)

It made relevant points and invited discussions on what actually makes a marriage work - the fact that both parties want to put up with each other despite flaws and not just out of obligation

I think the maya and dev would be together coz they wanted to put up with each other and be with each other...rather than “yeh might as well” kinda feelings which they had for their former spouses

Rhea and rishi were much more sorted and stable for these two screw ups...hence they could rightfully move on with their lives with or without dev and maya..where as dev and maya got stuck after their spouses left them

Yes because nobody would bother living with them. They have to live with each other.

Yes.. because they actually loved each other despite knowing each other's flaws and shortcomings..

Rishi and Rhea were good people who deserved love which they did get eventually so they had their happy endings

I think the movie did have a befitting end.. the only thing I wish is they didn't show the sleeping part

such people are supposed to pay for their crimes and not to live happily ever after. 😡

They would have had an unhappy romance /marriage... Both of them were attracted to each other.. There was just an illusion of love.. Two immature people can't be an happy couple.. Soon they would have enough of each other and split

The only plus point about this shitty movie was its music
