They lived happily forever Most Men cannot tolerate if their wife's are more successful than them Maya was a teacher so now his ego won't get hurt . His son and mother stayed backed with rhea , now he does not have any responsibility. I only felt bad for the boy anybody deserves a pathetic father like Dev

Bold: And Rhea was right. It's the Indian society's mindset to always blame the woman. Why should Rhea "give in" just because she's a woman? It shouldn't be the unwritten rule that you should worship your hubby even if he treats you like shite.
No I'm not saying that cause in a situation I wouldn't stand that. Its just am saying is if Rhea and Dev were wanting to go to couples therapy to workout the issue. I guess both didn't want to fix it anyways

Nobody ever said they needed to be stuck to their unhappy marriages. Its the cheating part that makes the movie distasteful.Any justification for the cheating ? That must be also Rhea and Rishi’s fault.
I'm not condoning cheating here. It was wrong for them to do so. All I was saying is it wasn't right to invalidate how both felt in their marriages and their feelings. They should have ended their marriages before their affair that was wrong of them but I don't agree that Rishi and Rhea were highly understanding towards their spouses as well

Honestly, in a marriage, both have to compromise and bow down.. Thats how marriage works.. Jab ek kamzor ho tou dusre ko usse samhalna hota hai.. That's what companionship is all about.. It doesn't have to be about men or women.. I would have said the same had the roles been reversed too..
Dev, after his accident needed mental support which clearly he wasn't given, not by his wife, not by his mother.. That's what made him bitter.. I most certainly don't blame Rhea for Dev cheating but I do think ke failed to give him the mental strength she needed when he was at his lowest
U helped strengthen was I was trying to say 👍🏼 . Not saying a woman should sacrifice her career for a man completely but like you said he needed to be showered with attention, compassion and love. He needed someone to tell him he wasn't 'broken' and that there is nothing to feel insecure about.
