Everyone has a choice and has the right to exercise that choice to do what they think is in their best interest. There is nothing wrong in what Sushant did.

However, when other people (read "insiders" ) exercise their choice of choosing to work with one actor or another, they are called "murderers"

I hope people see some sense now.

Its the time you should see it with sense ..

It was never about "choosing to work with one actor or the other" ...

Rather it was, is and always will be about how SSR got sidelined, targeted, isolated, mocked, bullied at parties, or events etc ... he never got his due recognition and what not ...

It was, is and always will be about how his projects were being snatched from him, how he got replaced and what kind of politics these bwood mafias were doing with him when he was alive ...

Its about how he was being falsely accused of metoo allegations and no one believed him or supported him ...

Its was about how many fake blind were planted against him to destroy his image and career.. it was about systematic character assassination that was planned against him ..

All of the above clearly led to him to depression ... These factor were responsible for his depression and in my honest opinion it was abetment of suicide (even if not in terms of law but rationality) and those so called insiders should be labelled as murderers...

I loved the interview. All his views were extremely coherent and well-put.

Two excellent points which he raised that I thought were relevant:

1) SSR had to beg people to watch Sonchiriya, and you, the very same people crying hoarse about nepotism today didn't go to watch it despite good reviews, and you are the same people who go crazy over Taimur's pics. These people want to live in denial that they were not a part of the problem, but fact is they are the biggest part of the problem. But they will not admit it. They just want to point fingers at others.

2) SSR also ditched Anurag, not once, but twice; once for YRF and once for Dharma. And I don't blame Sushant for that at all. He has to look after his own interests at the end of the day, even if it means rejecting the smaller producers to get bigger films. Anurag also understood this, which is why he said he doesn't have grudges against Sushant for this bec this is something most people would do. However, the same logic has to be used for people like KJo or Aditya Chopra who may only want to work with the elite. Everyone aspires to be better than where they are, and if casting starkids is going to help them get better business, they will do it. Because at the end of the day, Bollywood is a business first, and art later.

I only disagreed with one aspect where he said that people like Karan Johar, Aditya Chopra can only create careers but cannot destroy careers. Absolutely not. They can easily destroy careers and they definitely have the power and clout to do that. Any newcomer who wants to become a star eventually has to act in big films, and all the big films are produced by these biggies. If they boycott the newcomer, where will they act? They can't keep just doing small, indie films with the hopes of getting noticed. They'll never succeed like that...

About Kangana, I said this in the other thread, so re-plugging this:

So she wanted to snatch the roles of TWO outsiders in just one film, and yet she is supposedly the spokesperson of outsiders? That's like Modi acting as the protector of minorities when at the same time he is also oppressing them and threatening their existence. Disgusting hypocrisy.

I told you. She is doing dirty politics. She is all set to enter political arena in a few years.

Karan Johar and Aditya Pancholi were easy preys, as they were already generally disliked by the public, so mobilizing support against them wasn't as difficult. When SSR died and the anti-nepo wave was high, she again rode the wave when public opinion was against the likes of Alia, Sonam, etc. and used that as proxy support to her.

However, when she took potshots against outsiders, she lost steam. I am so glad she found some befitting replies from Taapsee and other outsiders. She cannot keep her shitshow going against them at least.

Every industry works on networking and connections. Abhishek Kapoor asked his cousin Ekta Kapoor to recommend a TV actor for his movie and that's how Sushant got Kai Po Che.

Everyone goes through career highs and lows. It's normal. Sushant had his own personal issues that led to his suicide. Hopefully we can all move on soon.

this is the reality and real Sushant his fans should know about. He himself ran behind flashy things.

I havent watched the iv. Going by your points.

1- Whats so surprising for a niche film to not do well in India ? How is it Sushant specific? Also did Kashyap speak about Chhichhore 's success which the audience accepted wholeheartedly ??

2- Sorry but how does one trust what Kashyap is saying the truth about his films? Sushant isnt there to defend himself.

3- Did he speak about Masand, Pinkvilla etc and the targeting he faced?

He makes some very interesting and valid points about the debate that's going on.

Also, shares his experience with Sushant. I am interested to hear what people have to say about Sushant dropping Hasee to Phasee to do a YRF film and ignoring Anurag's calls once Dhoni became a hit 🤓

if he can take the call of the director/producer of the film RAW, chanda mama door ke, one biopic of swimmer champion, etc then why would he ignore the call of this Kashyap .. may be for some other reason .. may be he was threatened or what.. I don't believe this Kashyap...

Kashyap , a boot licking man who has no shame of talking these things about a man who is no longer alive to defend himself ... If i were in his place, I would have died of guit.. he should be ashamed of himself ..

and stop this nonsense that kashyap is making a valid point in this ongoing debate ...what is valid in his bakwas ... stop hiding your own agenda of covering up this matter to save your own favourites ... there is no difference between kangana , kashyap and you ...

if you don’t believe Anurag that doesn’t mean he is lying. Sushant was a smart man who not only chose good cinema but movies like drive as well to make good repo with biggies. He had everything what an outsider needs. The Very thing you are calling it as boot licking, Sushant himself was doing it and there is nothing wrong in it. People have to survive in the industry. Sushant was very much a part of the same industry you are hating on.
