Why do people feel Ayushman is not star material? - Page 4

Lol people taunting him that he is just milking a particular genre. As if he has many options. He is doing very well with the opportunities he is getting. I hope he is supported more now.

2. He does similar type of movies.

He is a star, I have mentioned in the same post earlier. Thanks for making this Minty. You made posts on Sushant too.

He is a multi talented guy who can sing ,dance, act, not doing massy movies, doesn't mean, he isn't a star. Has a national award which isn't controversial. He has made a place there in his way. Someone who started with less hype and kept on becoming one of the most bankable actors.❤️

He is not a star - This is all perception created by articles saying the same thing - he has no x factor, he does similar roles, he is a niche actor, he is replaceable bec its only the script that's amazing... etc etc...

This is what I mentioned in my previous answer, in the round table, which I saw ,one can see how other actors crave for the kind of work Ayushmann does.

He's definitely a star. A star in trade terms is anyone who can command a box office opening. He's proven that he can with his last few films.

Because he is an "outsider" and as we found out a bit too late, their PR machine isn't as robust as the "insiders" to brand them as the next hot shit.

That's not really true. Ayushmann's PR is decent and Kartik has a great PR. Even Siddhant who has not even done a lead role till date was able to create a strong debut narrative for himself.

In fact, Sushant throughout his career had signed with all the big PR firms but they clearly never pushed him hard enough. It's sad that he lacked in this regard because it definitely impacted his "image".
