Good Newwz Had A Good First Day - Dabangg 3 Down

Good Newwz has had a good first day as it made good gains post the afternoon shows to record collections of around 18 crore nett. The film had a pretty good start in the morning but the range then looked around 15 crore nett so the gains in the evening are pretty decent.

The film has performed best in Delhi / UP and East Punjab as both these circuits beat the numbers of last weeks Dabangg 3. Some centres did not start well in East Punjab but came on board after 1 pm. Delhi / UP is fantastic as collections look to cross the 4 crore nett mark which will edge out the Dabangg 3 numbers though that had many issues in the circuit on day one. There are still some centres which are affected in UP though not as much as last week.

The film has also has a opening day above Housefull 4 though that was pre Diwali release. Overall its a good start for this film where the real story should be weekend growth and 18 crore nett is a good starting point. The film will have good chances to record the highest ever Akshay Kumar weekend score from this opening day.

Dabangg 3 had a big fall on day eight with collections in the 3 crore nett range. If mass markets are a little better it could be a little higher but either way it has taken a big hit and that 150 crore nett mark is looking a tough task for the film.

Dabanng 3 saw a big drop on the second Friday as it lost a huge number of screens at multiplexes. the film managed to hold the single screens better but they have also seen a drop in business. The drop means that the film will not reach the 150 crore nett though real value of the film will easily be 150 crore nett plus as it was hit by the law & order issue last week especially over the weekend. The film is still hit in UP a little but now its just about a few lakhs as collections are low.

The film collected 2.75 crore nett and has taken its total to 116.50 crore nett. The lifetime business of the film is depending on the second week business which can be helped a little by the holiday period and there will not be much coming after the second week. The business of Dabangg 3 till date is as follows.
