Do you also do the thing of checking out the climax just to know if the movie has a sad ending or not? I used to do this before for romantic movies. Now I don't.

Why have you stopped doing that now? ...I used to do that a lot too - look up review sections for a clue (sometimes even Wiki plot) just to know if it is too emotionally draining or sad or horrific etc😃 ..I used to avoid films with sad stories, sad endings. I like sad or emotionally engaging films, but there are some specific kind of sad I avoid.. but these days something within me is changing, I'm jumping right in after watching trailer or even just looking at the poster. Although I still do prefer a word of caution about the content that may upset me, so that I can prepare myself beforehand - especially when I'm going to watch with other people.. :p
