Agree, it's her performance that elevates it. You can feel her sincerity through her performance.

She has given it her all and it shows

When she fights when her kid is in danger, you can see her desperation and how even though she is breathless ,tired, she is fighting hard ...you can feel that when u see that scene.

It is so unfair the way the rest of the Bollywood is so silent about this movie doing well .

Clearly everyone is scared of some very powerful people ( who don't like Kangana )

Jhansi Ki Rani was the bravest war hero in Indian history and she was a young girl and still she showed so much courage , she was truly an inspiration and from the reviews it looks like Kanagana has done a great job playing her .

At least for that great warrior these people could have shown respect and appreciation by writing something good for a film made on her .

Shame on them , whoever they are .😡

Manikarnika is going to clock a 40 + cr weekend , that's a first in history of Bollywood for a woman centric movie..

The Bollywood people may have shunned her but the people are coming out in full support to her and her performance as Jhansi Ki Rani.

So proud as a woman to see this.

Audience clapping, whistling and showing their love..

In the end, no matter how much you try to shun her, the queen will always rise above all...always

I find this thread sooo amusing. It's like it's an alternate reality . Bollywood is silent because everyone knows what a selfish lying rude witch she is. She has no respect for anyone and thus nobody respects her. She has bitten the very hand that feeds her and you guys expect the industry to support her? She is maniac who stalked a man and all but ruined his reputation because she is a woman. She deserves to be in jail for cheating every decent person that ever worked with her. Everyone from shahid, saif, deepika, hrithik, salman, Karan, ajay devgan, alia bhatt, sonam, salman, ketan, hansal, krrish, adhyaman and God knows how many others have been wronged by her and you expect support?

These box office numbers - the only reason Saturday saw a jump was because it was a holiday. Now comes the real test. They need 115 CRS just to break even .

Happy to see movie doing good. Bollywood can stay silent but people will always appreciate good content. Even Kids will enjoy this movie coz politics is not detailed. They will get to see such a brave warrior queen existed and will find her truly inspiring. Kangana was exceptional and now I cant imagine anyone else as Queen of Jhansi. I am so happy this movie was made and is being appreciated. Like members said, you can clearly see the sincerity from every one involved.
