Dropping word from my friends - 4 went yesterday and all of them said it was very entertaining. They loved the Mohile-Simmba interactions and were singing "Mohile, Mohile". 😆

One of them said that the movie has a simple plot but they way it has been told is the charm. They are more SRK than RS fans so I wasnt expecting them to go gaga over Ranveer but they said he was really good as a cop and they were also asking when all three AD, RS, AK would come in one cop movie.

I was quite proud. These guys are SRK bhakts so their words were good to hear. 😃

Anybody is hooked to Mera Wala dance...The vid song is legit lit⭐️ also that male singer's voice is absolutely perfect for Ranveer

Ranveer is so adorns in that song 😳😳😳 I have noticed that he always lip syncs his songs so damn well...He has got goofy cute expressions also down pat in this one

Also Sara looks just too beautiful in this one ...Darn right totally reminds me of Karisma...Even though she was hardly there in the movie ...She was absolute patakha in both Aankh Marey and MWD...I'm so looking forward to what she is part of next

And yes Ashutosh Rana Ranveer scenes were extremely lovable...Their transition though predictable was absolutely delightful to watch

Rohit Shetty's Simmba, starring Sara Ali Khan and Ranveer Singh, continues to cast its magic at the box office and has raced past the Rs 150 crore mark.

A Rohit Shetty film is usually expected to cross Rs 100 crore, and Simmba is the eighth film to prove this. The film, starring Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan, hit the screens on December 28 and has been raking in money ever since. It earned Rs 20.72 crore on its opening day.

The cop drama, which also stars Sara Ali Khan, had a grand second day and made Rs 23.33 crore. It made Rs 31.02 crore on its third day, bringing its total collection to Rs 75.11 crore. The film earned Rs 21.24 crore on Monday, and made an astounding Rs 26 crore on Tuesday. Simmba made Rs 14.49 crore on Wednesday, and Rs 13 crore on Thursday, bringing its total collection to Rs 150 crore approx.

MOVIE REVIEW: SIMMBA

An official remake of the Telugu hit Temper, Simmba is the story of Sangram Bhalerao (Ranveer), an immoral and dishonest cop. He falls in love with Shagun (Sara), who runs a catering service near his police station. Everything is hunkydory, until the woman he considers his younger sister, 19-year-old medical student Aakruti Dave, gets brutally raped and killed.

Simmba features Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar and the team of Golmaal - Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade and Arshad Warsi - in special appearances, has already nudged out Aanand L Rai's Zero, which stars Shah Rukh Khan. The film is expected to continue its winning streak, as there is no big Bollywood release until January 11.
