The box office momentum of Dhurandhar shows no signs of slowing down. Nearly two weeks into its theatrical run, the film continues to pull crowds in numbers that most releases struggle to see even in their opening weekend.
What makes this run remarkable is not just the scale but the consistency. On its eleventh day in theatres, the film once again delivered figures that surpassed its own opening day, signalling a rare and sustained audience response across circuits.
Second Monday That Changed the Record Books
Early trade estimates place Dhurandhar’s second Monday collections between Rs. 29 crores and Rs. 31 crores. This single day pushed the India total to Rs. 396 crore, a figure that places the film within touching distance of the Rs. 400 crore milestone. More importantly, it marked a historic moment at the domestic box office.
No film before this has managed to remain above the Rs. 30 crore mark on a second Monday. That achievement alone has rewritten benchmarks for weekday business, especially beyond the first week. Industry trackers expect the Rs. 400 crore club to be breached on Tuesday, with the Rs. 500 crore figure now appearing achievable by the end of the second week if the trend holds.
Aiming for the Top Spot in Hindi Cinema
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BKOVzHcjEIo&t=104sWith its current trajectory, Dhurandhar is positioned to dominate the all time Hindi box office charts. The film is steadily moving past the lifetime totals of previous blockbusters such as Pathaan, Jawan, Gadar 2, Animal, Stree 2 and Chaavva. Trade voices are already calling it a strong contender to finish as the highest grossing Hindi film ever released in India.
There is also conversation around an even bigger possibility. If momentum continues through the coming days, Dhurandhar could challenge the Hindi language collections of Pushpa 2 The Rule. While that remains an outside chance, the fact that such comparisons are even being made reflects the scale of its current run.
Overseas Surge Pushes Global Total Beyond 600 Crore

The film has now earned $16 million outside India, with more than half of that amount arriving in just the last four days. This sharp rise indicates growing word of mouth among international audiences.
By Monday evening, the worldwide gross stood at Rs. 600.75 crore. With this, Dhurandhar became the third Indian film of 2025 to cross the Rs. 600 crore mark globally, joining Chhaava and Kantara Chapter One. On the same day, it overtook the Rs. 580 crore worldwide total of Saiyaara and moved ahead of earlier hits such as Padmaavat at Rs. 585 crore and Sanju at Rs. 592 crore.
Strong Hold Against Past Second Monday Benchmarks
The film’s second Monday number also stands tall when placed against past performers. Dhurandhar’s estimated Rs. 30 crore far exceeds earlier records set by Pushpa 2 The Rule at Rs. 20.50 crore, Stree 2 at Rs. 20.20 crore, Chhaava at Rs. 19.10 crore and Tiger Zinda Hai at Rs. 18.04 crore. The gap highlights how far ahead the film is running compared to previous benchmarks.
Such weekday strength often points to repeat viewings and sustained interest beyond the core fan base. This bodes well for the film as it heads into the festive window of Christmas and New Year, where footfalls traditionally rise across multiplexes and single screens alike.
What Lies Ahead
Dhurandhar features Ranveer Singh as Hamza, an Indian intelligence operative who enters the dangerous underworld of Lyari in Pakistan as part of a high risk mission. The narrative blends espionage with character driven drama, supported by a cast that includes Akshaye Khanna, Rakesh Bedi, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan and Arjun Rampal. Direction duties are handled by Aditya Dhar, whose approach has been widely discussed within trade circles.
A sequel that concludes the story is already in the pipeline and is scheduled for release on March 12, 2026. Given the current response, expectations around the follow up are already high. For now, Dhurandhar continues its run as one of the most dominant theatrical performers Indian cinema has seen in recent years.
