He is not an influential star kid who would get movies despite not adding anything to it... This is business and they invest in him only cause they know he can get positive returns for them.

He is the only actor who has given so many versatile characters in such a short span of time...

So in my opinion, he is underrated.

He is overrated.

Many say his best performance was in Lootera. I disagree to this. He spoiled Lootera for me. Ranveer has dead eyes and can't emote.

i disagree with that, i dont think success has gone to his head at all, watever film he chooses he doesn't choose it primarily for the box office numbers, he chooses a film with his heart, and sometimes that has lead to failed films like befikre and kill dil coz he only did those films for the directors

so for him box office does matter but its not the main thing for him, he just loves the film making process and getting to work with people he admires

Im quite appalled to see people bringing in someone like Varun in the conversation. Tiger Shroff has a much bigger box office pull than him and convincingly a bigger star. The guy can barely emote ffs..kudos to the people who tolerate him on big screen, for real 👏

Ranveer Singh is decent.

He is absolutely phenomenal. Infact he is underrated in terms of his talent or otherwise. I am glad media,public and bw folks haven't over hyped his talent otherwise he would have believed his own hype and would have repeatedly played same characters like in the case of certain someone as a man child. He is getting his due slowly and deservingly. I love his career. So much diverse characters and roles.

@bold: TM clearly says its not a bashing thread but why not.

On topic, Ranveer hasnt been able to do any credible work outside of SLB yet. 1 Lootera in a span of 8 years, that too a flop

How dare you dig up the old posts? Only some special fans have that right! Only we are the bad fans! RK fans who are so obvious in their replies are here are fine to do so. If I'm being biased and said someone else is overrated is wrong. Of course I can't bring in others to defend my fav. But other can. 😆

we dont need to mention rk or any other actor wen talking bout ranveer, lets just focus on ranveer as that is wat the discussion is about, coz this thread will turn into a fanwar if others are mentioned and then it becomes the same old annoying thing

That is the norm here, Anything and everything is allowed to bash RS and DP... But their fans can't do the same thing...

This member giving gyan to you, doesn't have the courage to say the same thing to rk fans... Heck she herself compares them easily when she wants to bash RS😆
