Good for him. When someone of his caliber takes a big step like this it will have a bigger and more beneficial impact for the victims in my opinion.

As for why didn't he just replace the director? I don't know. Perhaps the idea was to make a big statement and this is a big statement. Replacing the director wouldn't have been as impactful. Until yesterday when we were discussing this in another topic I didn't know who the director was or his past. I suspect I wasn't alone.

I wonder when will Aamir break his friendship with Bhai. He has also been accused of harassment. Will never take the so-called stands of these Bollywood folks seriously. They only think about profit in whatever way, especially Aamir whose every move is calculated.

And Aamir isn't powerful? He's a Superstar just like Bhai. If not bigger, they are still on the same level. Why can't Aamir take a stand against Salman? He's no Aish or Vivek Oberoi whose career will be destroyed or stop getting projects. Salman doesn't own Bollywood.

Could it also be Bhushan Kumar ? Their have been many blinds abt him but I guess the sub judice case is Subhash Kapoor .

I am very impressed with Aamir. He does very few films and that too after a long drawn process .. to simply walk out ...also not once he is saying , the said person is guilty . Hats off !

Dont praise him too much. He already signed it despite a very public video of the incident that had captured headlines and FIR. Akshay also worked on Jolly LLB 2 recently.

But since Hufflepost India contacted him and his wife to get their reaction on the issue as tomorrow they are going to put article on Geetika - Subhash Kapoor, he decided to disassociated just like Phantom was dissolved. After stand taken by Hrithik, everyone expects nothing less from Aamir.

Luckily, he can get another director. And am happy that Aamir chose not to judge Subhash Kapoor as matter is subjudice and did not name him.
