Also, Vicky was offered Padmavat?šŸ˜•

Yes, he was offered

After the stupendous success of Bajirao Mastani, Deepika Padukone, and Ranveer Singh will once gain share the screen space in director Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next - Padmavati.

As per reports, earlier it was speculated that Masaan actor Vicky Kaushal has been roped in to play a pivotal role opposite Deepika (of her husband). However, a source recently revealed to a popular daily, "Vicky Kaushal has opted out of the film considering that the role is very short in comparison to those played by Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.

Getting back to the topic, Vicky has great chemistry with his co-stars, his romance with Shweta Tripathi in Masaan was soo cute too.

omg deepika..
that made me lose A LOT of respect for her

also clarifies why she has not even a single movie thus far which she made hit on her own..like queen..kahani..raazi etc..coz she focuses and stresses on A list actors to be her co-stars..and come to think of it..it has almost always been like this

sad and unfortunate..that even in todays times actresses think like that and then they cry when actors have the same approach in selecting their female costars

Thank you for this post! And I fully agree Vicky Alia>>>>>>Varun Alia( I still love them but now they're second favourite Jodi) after watching Raazi, I was so in love with Iqbal. I binged watched everything with Vicky in it šŸ˜† so glad I did because I ended up discovering a gem of a performer. He just lights up the screen with his presence and you thirst for more of him. How is he so good at what he does? And so convincing as well? 😲 Not just Alia he has scorching chemistry with everything freaking actress he has ever worked with. I mean how? Just how? He can create chemistry with anything he is that kind of an actor. For example Ranbir and him in Sanju were so genuine and heartfelt, great bromance there and it looked so natural. It's rare to find an actor who is a combination of immense talent, great screenpresence and hotness quotient. And Vicky has that in abundance, I have never been that fascinated by a Bollywood actor before but he has changed that now. That's why I just need an opportunity to gush over him šŸ˜† he is the guy I'd bet my money on.

The love story was so sweet, innocent and simple. I watched Raazi with a friend and all she could say was what a nice guy. I didn't notice Vicky's acting much. Maybe because Alia had more to do. But I think he does have some Bollywood lineage. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

Vicky is the son of action director Shaam Kaushal who directed action and stunts in Gunday, Kaabil, Dhoom 3, Dangal, Padmaavat, BM, Phantom, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, PK, Kill Dil, etc

@bold : people will conveniently ignore this, as this doesnt give them a chance to bash Deepika šŸ˜†

IF par topic koi bhi ho, kisika bhi ho, end me bashing sirf DP aur RS ki hoti hai... bashing bhi karte hai, par bhi barso baras tike rehte hai, aur phir bhi kehta hai ki IF ke mods biased hai, DP ki bash karo toh ban kar dete hai šŸ˜†

It's good that he didn't do Padmavat as it might have clashed with Sanju's schedule and barring Ranveer, no one got anything from Padmavat

It's my favourite love story in years!!! I felt terrible for poor Iqbal who loved his wife so so much & deeply. The way he kept defending her till the very end, even when he knew she betrayed them all & broke his heart in the deepest way possible; when he questioned the very legitimacy of their relationship... He then gave up his life for her. God what a love story. I legit fell in love with Vicky after this film as did most women!! Aloo even said how much she wishes she would get a husband like Iqbal & all her friends would keep asking her about Vicky & how they deeply wish they too get husbands like Iqbal & If she could make them meet Vicky. Lol.

It's the only film I've ever watched at the cinema, twice and ITS ONLY BECAUSE OF IQBAL/Vicky. ā¤ļø
