I guess she's referring to the fact that NRIs are known for giving a lot of donations to the BJP.
Anyway, I can't stand the loony Nationalist brigade but a lot of people have reason to be legitimately angry with this Quantico episode and not just the thugs who are always looking for an excuse to burn posters and boycott people.
NRIs especially have a reason to be angry because this is propaganda in the guise of fiction. Why should a peaceful community that has never been involved in any terrorism and have very low crime rates even in other things be targeted like this? There are a lot of ignorant white people that watch crappy shows like this and would take this as a truthful portrayal. It is damaging to an entire community. When you add that to the fact that there are quotes from the Quantico writers from previous years that they would *never* show Muslims as terrorists, you have to wonder what their agenda is.
Targeting PC is useless because she doesn't have any power (never take those BS power lists seriously) though I do think her greed for HW attention is what lead her to do a show based on terrorism in the first place. Indians never seem to learn their lesson that white people can be snakes (hasn't colonialism taught them anything?) and that the only reason desis are getting roles is because they are desperately trying to enter the Indian market which offers up a population of over a billion. People like PC are just the token browns to help their agendas and make them look liberal and inclusive but Indians go crazy with the tiniest bit of white attention.
