A Hindutva group in Delhi protested against Priyanka Chopra on Saturday over her American series Quantico's episode, which showed Indian nationalists in poor light.

The agitators burned down the posters of Priyanka and sloganeered against the actress outside the Parliament Street Police station in the afternoon to protest against the Bollywood actress, who has also become an International star.

In the episode, Chopra, who plays CIA operative Alex Parrish, foils a plot by Indian nationalists who want to carry out a nuclear attack in Manhattan and then blame Pakistan for the same.

Hindu Sena chief Vishnu Gupta, who led the protest, told ANI, "Priyanka Chopra should apologise to the whole nation for this act."

lol when i said that i don't intend to watch parmanu, this what an( NRI) IF Member said "Parmanu is one of the best movies ever but it's not for Pakistani or Chinese people after all. Why'll they like India's moment of pride. " If an highly educated ppl could behave like this what more could expect from these brainwashed idiots? According to them anyone who hate on Modi/Nationalist is equal to anti national/pakistani !!!

ABC needs to apologize..Priyanka doesn't...I won't believe that she didn't try to convince the makers to not use this story line but there is not much she could have done...she is really not that big in BW...its llike Yami Gautam in BW telling Kjo to not do something and she is under a contract...I always judge people by their circumstances...and there is no way that PC is at fault in this...yes if it was BW movie...I would have bashed her for this..

ABC needs to apologize because they put Indians at jeopardy in USA...🤢

I'm not an NRI just temporarily out of India. My bad. I've never seen you support India on any topic so I assumed you were a Pakistani member. And the Chinese alluded to Indian films releasing in China which Parmanu probably won't.

Parmanu is not a Modi hagiography. It's about the time India became a nuclear power. But some folks hate anything to do with India and patriotism is a dirty word nowadays. No worries.

They are closet SRK PC shippers. First they wanted to send SRK to Pakistan and now it's PC. If they can't unite in India, at least let them unite in Pakistan should be their reasoning 😆

Don't know how famous is Quantico in US but i think 60% of show views are from Indian Diaspora...

By giving fuel to the controversy Indian population have actually highlighted this incident...

Indians are/were at risk even if Quantico didn't show such storyline

Btw this is a peaceful protest. Pakistan was created out of India. Two Nation theory by Mohammed jinnah/Abul Kalam Azad etc.

Pakistan has been making fake stories about Indian terrorist activities there and this storyline of self proclaimed Indian ambassador to HW doth support that. What is wrong then?
