Its not just about hey it's only TV series. It's about sending the impression about india on this kind of issue. Most of them won't believe initially but few of them will start thinking may be indians are also involved in terrorist activities. And if some more TV series follows this kind of nonsense then more and more countries/foreigners will start thinking about indians as such.
Showing indians as poor have always been fun for these hollywood or foreigners. People feel bad but don't loose their minds completely as there is truth in that. But showing indians as terrorists is something which people cannot digest as it only tries to present the country in poor light and which is completely unnecessary.

Was money so important to her that she overlook the spurious and malicious damage inflicted by the show on her home country? Can Tom Hanks or Tom Cruise ever play a character which shows Americans as perpetrators of Terrorism? Can those defending PC then defend this?
You are right, HW movies have always shown Indians as country of tantriks, beggars and illiterates.
Most americans barely know about their own country forget trying to know an Asian country. Such shows only bolster their false image of India and other nations. They see the world through that prism only.
Actors all over the world take responsibility of the content they agree to do, how can they shrug it off? They give their consent and only then its shot. For sex scenes they are paid high so is there something like PC got paid tonnes for allowing to falsely show her own country India as terror inflictor when its a victim ?
Indians have all the right to be enraged over the disgraceful and distortion
