Firstly, Rapes occur everywhere. India has Huge population so if u go by statistics to population ratio, there r equal or more rapes happening in West. There are Date rape, drunk rape, there are so many cases of captive sex slaves in US. It has nothing to do with Sex or po*nography or legalizing prostitution.

po*n is as much responsible for rape as is girls wearing short clothes, ergo that is null.

Rape is imo driven by many factors, and po*n is the last thing to contribute.


The thing that is majorly responsible I believe is men not respecting the concept of consent or basically not understanding. Hence you will mostly men agrue against marital rape or groping.


Second is men thinking of women as weaker sex and that they can dominate by sexually abusing. Men think, if you sexually own someone you are powerful.


Third is people with rape tendency to believe that they know the victim wants it. The majority of rape that happens to people belonging to LGBT community is because the abusers generally believe that they LGBT people just want sex. And the concept of straight men is kinda flawed, as a hint of feminity and men don't leave chance. As the believe that top are not gays is prelevant among most men.



Fourth is mental sickness, studies have found that most of the serial rapists or child abuser are mostly screwed up folks with genetic issues.


And most important thing IMHO, is the behaivour of the society towards the victim. Most of the people who are sexually abused, don't report in fear of society's outlook towards them post reporting.
People either get over sympathetic or start discriminating. Which both are wrong IMO.

Nothing contributes to rape other than SICK mentality. Why blame po*n for that? There are lots of men as well as women who watch po*n.. doesn't mean they will go out and rape someone! I don't think there's anything wrong in watching po*n . It's mainly the patriarchal mindset of people in India and the fact that literally everything related to love (kissing, sex, etc) is hush-hush and seen as a taboo which makes these sick men sexually frustrated and they just don't know how to keep it in their pants 🤢 Unless proper sexual education is given in India and sex is normalised, our society will keep regressing .

Who says this doesn't happen in the west? Do you have any idea about the number of just campus rapes in the US? Paedphilia is rife in the west.
