I feel it is so.. I think these sexual themes and vulgarity is contributing to this Rape mentality.

Rape happens everywhere whether po*n is banned or not . Some men are just f**ked up

Maybe some desis are unable to handle it, unlike Western countries where the culture is different

Honestly I think it's because many men and women in India are sexually repressed. In India, sex is seen as a taboo, something dirty and shameful. I think if sex is normalised and seen as a casual act of intimacy just like any other, the and if both boys and girls are given more freedom to explore their sexualities and talk about it, I think the problem may be mitigated to some extent.

It can definitely contribute to it but the main factors according to me are either-1.Lack Of Compulsory S*x Education in our schools.
