Just read the article L posted in page 6, Sallu is talking specifically about himself. He is talking about, how his job profile does not allow him to be himself, he always have to mask his sadness, emotions and other stuff , as his current lifestyle does not allow him to be himself. He cannot show the world what he is going through. He cannot afford to be sad, because he does not time for it.
Does not mean he is not/cannot be sad or stressed, but he cannot afford to show them.

Depression is not as simple as it looks, there are many types and some people just keep on suffering. There is no such cure for depression, medication helps only for a while. A person needs to be willing to change their habits, lifestyle etc to overcome this disease.

I know as I have suffered depression, Resident_Evil is correct about the medication's effect on people. I would rather change my lifestyle and thoughts to come out of it, then take any medication that could affect me in long run.

I was given the option of getting on SSRIs but since i had actually seen them in action i would NEVER do it to myself. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and meditation works the best cuz some people are resistant to medicines. And plus the medicines take about 6 weeks to actually start working and then reach a peak so you have to increase the dose. And lets not forget that these drugs are for MAJOR DEPRESSIVE DISORDERS not for what people are terming here as "depression".

And i may be a medical professional but i am not stupid to not see the fact that the DSM is funded by pharmaceutical companies to encompass as many people as they can just to sell their drugs. I did a whole research paper on the topic and the history of the DSM made me sick.
