Can Salman Khan actually ACT?

Over the years, Salman has always got the title of the superstar who can't really act. And yes, some of his more recent films definitely show his acting abilities (or lack of). But yesterday I was watching Tere Naam, and I think he can be a good actor if he wanted to. I don't know if he likes this non-actor title or just goes along with it but Salman has the most expressive pair of eyes. He can emote well with them. I would love it if he chose a performance oriented role for once. He has the level of stardom that he can afford to do a performance oriented role over the masala or franchise movies he has been doing.

He can do well

But he himself said in an interview how once he rejected a very performance oriented role in kabir khan movie as it required him to go through a lot of preparation ,hardwork, use of prosthetics. He said at 53 i cant take up so much.

But he was good at phir milenge, tere naam, bajrangi in terms of acting

even i liked sultan more than dangal. His hardwork reflected in the movie.

But what works against him is his EGO, that now he is undisputed king of box office.

If he wants to do good movies, he has to surrender to director,but his egoistic nature doesnt allow him. He doesnt like taking orders.He doesnt like too many retakes.

Other actors repeatedly ask directors to shoot again if the shot is not well..but salman doesnt seek opinion.

Anurag kashyap was to direct tere naam

anuraag asked salman to grow Chest hair as an UP boy for the film.

One day the producer sunil manchanda came and fired anuraag sayinn" tuney bolaa kya bhai ko baal uaagane ko?

satish kaushik was taken as director next.

At best he is a limited actor. He is able to do fight sequence and anger but fails badly in emotions and romance. He is able to do comedy which has cheesy dialogues and caters to street boys.

He hardly does strong emotive roles and has never attempted.

Since he is ruling the roost, so the masala continues.

@Bold, lol, didn't know that . But know that for Tere Naam, Salman was also told to shave his head which he had never done before and didn't want to do. But he did it for the role. Shaving your head is more daunting than growing chest hair.

Well, the likes of Katrina Kaif or Jaquline Fernandez can't act. They are still accepted by the audience.

The likes of the Kardashians are known to not have an iota of talent yet are considered celebrities. So?!

So u r comparing salmans' filmography with katrina and jacki's ?lmao ! And let them do one centric movie on their own and see the audience pull to the theatres and we will talk..and compare Them to him !
