But he himself said in an interview how once he rejected a very performance oriented role in kabir khan movie as it required him to go through a lot of preparation ,hardwork, use of prosthetics. He said at 53 i cant take up so much.

But he was good at phir milenge, tere naam, bajrangi in terms of acting

even i liked sultan more than dangal. His hardwork reflected in the movie.

But what works against him is his EGO, that now he is undisputed king of box office.

If he wants to do good movies, he has to surrender to director,but his egoistic nature doesnt allow him. He doesnt like taking orders.He doesnt like too many retakes.

Other actors repeatedly ask directors to shoot again if the shot is not well..but salman doesnt seek opinion.
