Watched it just now...A visual extravaganza but not without its flaws...I enjoyed it fully and the good news is the two friends that came along did not kill me but thanked me at the end...Phew! 😆

I cannot post in length right now I will say this much that each and every cast and crew gave their best to the movie...Ranveer was the best of the lot...He breathed fire into his role and gave his best to it! Deepika was so stunning and beautiful that it was hard to focus on anything else while she is on the screen...Shahid's role is a bit less but he did full justice to whatever the little he got to do!

Its hard to name but each and every actor in the movie put in their best foot forward...

The lady doesn't need a Knight in Shining Armor . She is the Queen rescuing the Knight for a change. This is women empowerment on some other level.

There is no damsel in distress saved by the Hero. It is the other way around.

Loved it.

Ranveer my boy has done it again. Speech f**king less.

Jim and his chemistry is ufff. Jim is amazing.

Deepika looks beautiful and has acted even more beautifully. She is amazing in every sense.

She did justice to the character of a beautiful smart Queen.

The last 30 mins is just Goosebumps. "Rani Sa" damn.

SLB is amazing. He delivers and how.

Love it.. I would be mad/jealous if he took anybody apart from Ranveer and Deepika in his future projects. 😆

Ugh I am obsessed with Veer's Khilji. I need more of Veer playing an antagonist in my life.

What mad f**kery was Binte Dil. My head was legit spinning seeing the picturisation. Haha, I need to see this movie once again on the big screen just to relish Khilji.

Oh I have to say this...I am not a fan or anything but I definitely like Shahid better than Ranveer and went to the movie hoping to catch Ranveer on the wrong foot but boy oh boy, he was almost flawless as the ruthless, power drunk maniac conqueror!Don't get me wrong though as I am proud of Shahid's performance as he did amazing with whatever the little he was given but Ranveer and then Deepika with her beauty and much improved acting,have totally stole the movie for me...

Finally I watched it, what an experience it was, the film is visually stunning everything is grand

and beautiful, I need to watch it again for sure 😆

its magnificent , watching this movie you feel transported to that era

the visuals with the BG music is captivating, its just TOP NOTCH WORLD CINEMA 👏

kudos to SLB for creating this world, he is a genius with a beautiful mind 😃

Ranveer is extraordinary in this movie, my God he was phenomenal

the way he embodies the character is shocking, HE WAS KHILJI. the walk, the talk, the voice, even the laugh, he lived it, he killed it , his mannerisms were perfect for the role 👏

what I liked the most is his arrogance, the way he doesn't pay attention to Ratan Singh when he was talking to him, I swear his arrogance is mesmerizing 😆 Khilji was soo REAL in contrast to that of Ratan's character who was full of Rajput "Usool" 😆

Khilji and Malik Kafur were an evil team, and they were amazing 😆

I didn't like the fight scene btw Khilji and Ratan, SLB did so much ass-kissing for Rajput 😡

Khalibali was amazing, Ranveer is a true monster

Deepika and Shahid were on top form 👏

Trust me the Rajput usool stupidity is just as real as it can get...It did become tedious and unbearable though to watch a perfectly fine warrior King worrying about the 'usool' more than his, his people and his country's wellbeing...

Padmaavat Crosses 30 Crore On Day Two

Padmaavat has had a huge second day with collections set to be around 32 crore nett. It was a more peaceful day today compared to yesterday and the film opened at more screens which helped on the big national holiday. There were more screenings in UP and Haryana.

Bangalore had a full day and that gave the film another big boost and the growth from yesterday was 65% with extra screens giving it another 10% boost from yesterday. The total in two days is 50 crore nett apprx and another 4 crore coming in paid previews to give a total of 54 crore nett apprx.

The film has probably lost around 20-22% business on its second day which means in real value the film would have crossed 40 crore nett. The real value if all India had a clean release would be 26 crore nett plus 42 crore nett which is 68 crore nett. But the other fact is that if there was no controversy then it would have got a clean release but these numbers would not happen.

Mumbai circuit is phenomenal as it collects 11 crore nett without Gujarat which basically means its doing Bahubali - The Conclusion numbers in Mumbai though the difference is that its a national holiday for Padmaavat while Bahubali - The Conclusion was a normal day.

The film now needs to hold well over the next two days, it cannot afford to go too far down below the Saturday figure.
