It has nothing whatsoever about not loving your country. Some passports r a hell of a lot more valuable in traveling and other stuff simply to begin with and many other benefits. Most people don't even want to give up their birth country citizenship but that country forces their hands by not recognizing dual citizenship. So you have to make a choice that makes more sense to you as in what is more beneficial to you and your kids for their higher education etc

I just don't understand what the issue is! If only dual citizenship was accepted by India they i'm pretty sure would never willingly let go of it.

Alia isn't given any crap about it? Nor is Imran and AFAIK DP has a foreign passport too. So what?
They were born to Indian parents (either on Indian soil or not) and live in India and work in the same country try earn and spend in that same country and try to give back to the society in their own ways maybe through charity.
Why is this such a huge issue!
