So a person having citizenship of another country cannot be a deshbahkt and love India? Any rule stating this or just it's assumed? Have been reading so much like you can't say India is this and that when you live in the country and are a citizen else one is a hypocrite. Are there any rules specified for deshbhakts? What qualifications are required? Please tell me...

I think most have a problem with Akshay being Canadian citizen cos he is acting guilty about it. He lied that he is a honorary citizen, which he isn't. He said he has dual citizenship which India doesn't allow. He is supporting the current govt, making deshbakthi movies so he is guilty that news that he isn't Indian citizen is going to hit his image.

Alia and Imran didn't lie about their citizenship. Alia was honest about why she couldn't vote as she is Uk citizen. Imran was born in US. DP was born in Denmark but is Indian citizen.

Why does everyone always say DP has a foreign passport? She has an Indian passport, she is an Indian citizen!!

Who cares? He lives in India. Does legal work. Pays high taxes to the India Govt. on his income like all rich people should. Hasn't committed any crime or fraud. I don't see a problem here.
