For a while I tried to believe she genuinely loves him as he seems to love her. But what do we know? Though, I do get vibes she is all in for the name and fame/benefits. Maybe Anushka has some magic spell or she is doing something right...😆😉
Lol and what also irks me is that she tries to act so private and say she won't talk about their relationship and that their wedding was so private, yet we had seen everything!!! And I went to PV and there were 1000 articles just on their wedding. It was just too much!

This thread makes me feel that people are too judgemental 😆

Everyone in this thread sound so cynical. But yeaa haven't seen such an excitement for a pair in a while. Their story has everything needed for a BW film. Cricket, BW, Italy and love story.

The engagement ring-honeymoon thing makes sense! I didnt bother to look before I read your post.

I must admit it was one witty piece of writing and an enjoyable 'rant' 😛.

I love how Virat is painted here as some toddler who doesn't know what the hell he is doing and is basically just going along with whatever Anushka wants him to do, as if he had no freaking say in where their wedding took place. What is bizarre is the "logic" that just because it happened all the way in Italy or just because it was attended by a very few of their closest friends and family , it somehow equates to being "pretentious"..I'm sorry but what?! I won't be surprised if the same people would be going PR...PR had they had the wedding in India. The fact that they kept it under the radar for as long as they did is being held against them even though it's pretty clear why they did that. The media followed them all the way to Tuscany man, one can only imagine the "tamasha" they would have created here had the wedding taken place in India. If I'm not wrong the picture Anushka shared from their honeymoon is only the second picture she has shared of them together , the first being the one from the wedding. Not counting the one where she thanked her wedding planners yet it is being painted as if she did to only showcase her ring..I'm sorry but what!? 😆 It ain't like she has to "showcase" it , it would anyways be full on display when their reception happens in Delhi and Bombay.

For two people who have handled their relationship with a lot of maturity despite all the BS scrutiny out there , it's messed up af that that itself is being held against them.

As for Anushka being "oh so controlling" , again to assume Virat has no say here is preposterous to say the least. The guy who himself is quite dominating , quite aggressive on the field , speaks his freaking mind , suddenly has no say when it comes to his own relationship? The fact that these two married each other after being together for four years , after going through their own share of ups and downs shows that it was a very thought out decision by both of them. And just because their wedding happened all the way in Tuscany doesn't mean Virat had to "compromise" and his mother had to "compromise". It means these are two people who wanted their wedding to take place in the manner it did and who had a gala time at their wedding judging by all the pictures , videos out there.

Also with regards to Virat's personality , it's called evolving as a person. I don't see him as someone who is morphing into what Anushka wants him to be. It's pretty clear his Delhi upbringing is very much a part of his personality , it's just that he has evolved over the course of all these years , it's called growing up. One can judge even by the interviews he has given in recent times as to how much his Delhi upbringing is an intrinsic part of his personality , he just gives Anushka credit for perhaps contributing to his growth as a person.

This is less of observations and more of fanfiction... It makes me think of those aunties who sit and gossip at weddings ki ladki ne toh phansa liya paise wale munde ko... ...
