oh I just forgot to add, even in her debut movie Bekhudi, her name in opening credits was written as KAJOL , so i am assuming maybe her bangla' Father gave it as an official name to the producer to be written in films' credits and their the whole thing started.

90s was the time when numerology was a fad. Every producer or actor used to see a good numerologist before starting any venture, before their launch. Many celebs changed name or the spelling of their name cz the the producer's numerologist said so.

kaajal sounds too common..we have so many with this name..one is also kajal agarwal no?

kajol is unique..different..and i love the name..so far haven't heard anyone else with this name..and i love the uniqueness of this name..glad that happened though..

Theres a writer for Filmfare named Kajol Mathur. So her dumb articles come up every time i google Kajol now.

i think we all get use to this name for the last 25 years

maybe even kaajal sounded and felt as good if it would've been used for her since 1992.

i never heard anyother actress with name kaajal.

ps: agarwal came much later in the industry then Devgun.
