Why media & we all call her KAJOL ?

kajOL is Bengali pronounciation and suppose to be pronounced when we speak Bengali.

In hindi/urdu it is KAAJAL and anyone who speaks in hindi/urdu suppose to pronounce it in Hindi/urdu accent as KAAJAL and not kajOl.

But the thing is not this.

The funny thing is

* I have seen entire season of BiggBoss, and her sister Tanisha always used to call/address her KAAJAL and not kajOl throughout the season.

* I have seen Tanuja's interviews, and her mother always addresses her name as KAAJAL and not kajOl.

* Even Ajay in few of her interviews always calls her KAAJAL and never kajOl.

I am just surprised why right from the start of her career in 1992 the media be it in english or hindi/urdu always calls her name as kajOl and not KAAJAL and even we all address her with her Bengali' accent name and not with the hindi one, when her entire immediate family, her sister her mother and her husband calls her KAAJAL and never kajOl.

I understand its not some huge issue, but did anyone thought about it ?

As for why we call her KajOl and not KaajAL...hmm.. I wonder why as well :p ..they must've given her that name for numerology or just to make it look different or maybe because of their Bengali accent...

KajOl is unique! I'd like to keep calling her that :p

I remember reading stardust (in urdu back in pak) in 1992 at her debut and even in urdu language its been written kajOl.

Yeah kajOl rhyms better, and seems unique due to bangla' pronounciation..kaajAl seems too ordinary as we hear it countless times in our language hindi/urdu (although its not a common name, but common word).
