Looked good but not executed well. The musical bit got old real quick. Leads don't look like teens from any angle...don't think people want to see Ranbir or Kat as much, and considering the budget, it was too much. Oh yeah "and audience is really too stupid to understand it" okaaay! 🤪

He is becoming srk 2 doing films for friends and trusting in them entirely.

Beats me . I loved the movie , it was cinematic delight to watch it on big screen ,I still mourn its failure :(
Moreover i'm still in love with its soundtrack , pure magical it was

I thought the first 20 minutes of JJ ie Miss Maya case was fabulous..beautifully shot and well presented

then it just became monotonous and highly boring 🥱

It was a beautiful movie told haphazardly.

1. When you read there is no script or barely anything, that is reason #1. Money is needed to make a vision come true. So script is not a suggestion, but a necessity.

2. Budget is not a suggestion again, but real numbers. If you want profit stay under budget.

3. Bad producers who had no clue how to produce.

Delayed project made interest in film less, which it was for many years. By the time it came, wasn't actually the kind ppl expected. Too many songs with no idea where film is going, what actually makers wanted to show. Ranbir should learn from this & never try this kind of blunder again.

Agree with this especially the last 20-25 minutes were like they were in super hurry to wrap up the movie. Concept had potential but execution was bad

Hmm cause nobody was interested in seeing Ranbir. Opening day was really low esp with Katrina by his side. And please it has nothing to do with delayed and so on. Cause general audience dont care they see trailer and music and thats enough for them to say lets watch or not. Trailer was good but everything else was not interesting.
