Wow, Kangy so much insecurity that people are liking DP, toh attention seeking tactics shuru ?

Why Kangy always needs crutches to promote her movies, sometimes HR, now she is using DP. Arrey, at least till the filming is over. Itna bhi confidence nahi hai apne aap par ??

Why do people on this forum think Madhuri was a box office queen? 😕

Apart from Raja (which had massively appealing music and I'm sure that contributed, but mainly I feel like it was a fluke and not down to Madhuri per se).. WHICH other film has Madhuri made a hit based on her stardom ALONE? Name one please.

^ And I say that when Madhuri was a favourite for me. I liked Sridevi a bit more and think Sridevi had more of a buzz and presence. But I wouldn't say either Sridevi OR Madhuri had any command over the box office like the superstar actors do.

Thought Deepika ('s PR ) was smarter than this .. She needs to stay far away from Kangana .. That woman is obsessed with Deepika & Hrithik ( if those leaked emails r anything to go by ) .. DP barely dodged a bullet , if its her PR , she should strictly advise them against it ( but now the harm is done ).. This whole PR tactic of pulling others down to make yourself superior is so obnoxious .. She doesn't need to resort to such pettiness , if anything it just dilutes her success ..

That being said , I wouldn't completely rule out the possibility of Kangy's PR .. When you read the article in its entirety , it is more of Manikarnika promotion .. Piggyback riding strategy , plus , that psycho would be delighted to have her name put against DP's .. 😆 .. Kangy may very well scoop this up for Manikarnika promotions ..

check out her filmography and its BO returns (or lack of) baring 2,3 movies

no wonder such tactics are used..but such things can only get online views..not actual audience who would pay to see in her in a cinema

Film making was different in 80s and 90s. Every star was working in several shifts and releasing 5 to 10 movies a year. Nobody was expected to make every film a hit (including Amitabh). As long as they produce a hit in an year, it was sufficient to be in the race for top spot. That's how Madhuri and Sri were on top (on par with male actors, who also had hits/flops). Situation is different now. Everyone comes out with one film a year. So there is a need to make every film a hit.

On bold. Most established actors/actresses work with established names. (Recently, Salman has paired up with Katrina, Sharukh with Anushka/Katrina). Ratio of their movies with new comers and movies with established names will be really small. What matters is, whether they were successful in their experiment.
