Nothing to do with BO if you ask me..EV was amazing script alleviated by her acting..every middle aged women could relate to that and was a very fresh movie so that's why it was hit.

Sridevi is smart in doing movies like Mom or EV because only script can save the movie, she is also aware of that. If she were to do some musical or some movie like Gulab gang highly doubt it would be a hit
