Diwali without crackers is no diwali for kids. Kids wait for diwali to burn fire crackers! But people have issues over it. Like pollution will happen only in diwali. But not other 364 days.

as for the fathers name issue i had never even think in my childhood till now that my father is stronger than mother coz of name what bullshit she is writing...if she doesn't believe in tradition n tra la la then she shouldn't have gotten married...simple,and yes woman has choice also u can keep ur name if u want it

Yes the open letter (when will the damn thing stop?) was vile but TK's reply is even more venomous & unbecoming of her pedigree...learn to take it in your stride woman!

But then this flowery expression of gibberish is her calling card...she ain't gonna let it slip!!!

And again..almost all my friends who celebrate do so with both partners fasting...maybe corny..but the intent and emotion behind this is unquestionable!!!

its my choice ..who the hell you are to tell me how I spend my life ... I live as I want ..I celebrate my festival as I want .. will keep one day fast or 30 days fast its none of your business .my body my life, I am not forcing you to keep fast so shut your mouth. before giving gyan to me on holi first cemented your swimming pool ...before giving gyan to me on pollution sale out your all diesel car and shut down your all Air condition 😉

First of all, there's a difference between stating an opinion and mocking something, she was clearly trying to mock this tradition, the women who do it. Why not let it be the matter of choice rather than inflicting your choice on others? Women mostly perform this due to their own will, why is she trying to mock their choices! Lol and she does not even answer all questions, it must have really stung her hard when that anonymous talked about her husband cheating. Twinkle is calling her and her mother independent and strong, yet both of them took sh*t from their husbands, so shs should really stop doing this dhong. And independence is all about freedom of choice, choice to do something or not!

And secondly firecracker ban is a welcome step, specially in Delhi, but i hope that these so called environment activists remain active throughout the year, not just on holi and diwali so :)

Instead of mocking women for following certain traditions and shame them into discarding them, why not mock men for not inventing/following such traditions and shame them into making one for themselves too??? 😛😆

Teinkle clearly did not u understand the oytrage against cracker ban.people are against selective ban they are ok with a ban throughout the year but not just diwali and allowance of sale after diwali.

If pollution is high when people burst crackers on diwali it's higher when they do it on new years day

Yeah they are attacking hinduism by doing it.if only the verdict said ban on firecrackers in delhi on diwali new year or any occasion irrespective of time and month of year people would have gladly accepted it. The.point is they banned it on diwali and granted permission for sale after diwali. That isbwhere the judgement is flawed.

If they banned.it throughout the year even then people would have kept quiet. The court just vilified a particular religion's festival which hurt most.

P.s. I stopped bursting crackers like 15 yr s ago so don't comw to fight with me now.
