Yes lots of star kids debuted and failed, but I have never seen such an aggressive overbearing support for any starkid. Even Yash Chopra was lazy when it came to his own son Uday, Ekta helped Tushar too but it didn't go anywhere. Also Varun/Sid are obviously better looking that Uday/Tushar so that helps too!

Again I am not saying they are nothing...they are doing very well however...they do have an aggressive and strong support system...and not all star kids have had that kind of STRONG support. All star kids get an entry...but the background support is a whole other ballgame.

Sabhyata: People love being self-righteous & believing that rich & privileged people are ALL wrong. Not true at all. If we should not discriminate because someone is an outsider/poor/unprivileged individual, we mustn't discrimate because someone IS rich & privileged. It's a mentality that grates on my nerves like most else, does not. It's a new fad to shit all over rich & privileged people BECAUSE they are rich & have opportunities that others don't. So much luck goes into success too apart from talent & hard-work & BW is ruthless like no other industry is... If Dhawan & Aloo won't accepted by the audience, no amount of wealth & privileged would've made them be accepted by the Indian audience. That's the bottom-line.

People like Rajkumar Rao, Shabana, Tabu, Nawaz, Irrfan, Nas Shah etc will ALWAYS steal every show ever made/produced/present simply because I believe, they were born to act. They're extremely talented individuals. Yet, they can't be compared to commercial superstars because the genres & talent ranges are too different. The most over-rated actors for me are Salman & SRK. SRK is my forever celeb love, but I've no qualms in saying that Fan & Raees made me LOL. Comparing drastically different actors isn't fair to any one of them.

Alia is talented, there is no point of argument, but she is a product of nepotism. She is just average...neither pretty nor hot. If she wasn't bhatt's daughter, KJO wouldn't have looked her twice. If it wasn't for nepotism, she wouldn't have got Highway after a flower pot role like SOTY...period

Whatever Varun has achieved that's simply phenomenal. I agree. This year has been one of the worst for bollywood and just when we thought movies without content r never gonna work ...in came judwa2 and changed the whole scenario...

Although like I said vaurn has somehow managed to get a good fanbase for himself ...which is great...but I won't deny HE IS ONE OF THE MOST OVERRATED ACTOR I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE. I have seen him talk about badlapur a lot since that's the only niche film he has done. But even there it's Nawaz who stole the show. People like rajkumar rao shud hog more limelight and shud get more written about coz they r true actors in every sense of the term ...not these star kids who thrives on nepotism
