Painful memories. Reminds me when my Father had a rod that he used specially for me he tweaked it to make the sides sharp, blunt sharp and hit it hard into the skin till blood was squirting out, to "discipline" the magical word

That's a little baby the Mother should be ashamed she's saying "pyar se bolein" its affecting her but she starts to slap her for getting it wrong and she's getting it wrong in confusion not because she doesn't know she's too scared to concentrate properly.

Had it been Us or Canada, social services would've swooped in and taken the girl away. Stupid Mom. Who terrorizes their child like that and then post it on social media? They thought it was funny?? Idiots!

Yes, when we were kids, we all got our share of the rod but I'm sure it was NEVER like this. Ek thappad/stick khana cannot be compared to the terror this child is enduring. This is plain cruel.

I have a argument over this video in my office 😡 colleague justify the whole thing 🤢
if any one saw full video you can see that girl remember everything but her mother confuse her..when she reached on 3 then her mother asked for 1 to make her confuse..she crying due to her mother shouting and plead please "pyar se padao mujhe ser dard ho raha hai " she is hardly 4 years old and in the end we saw she has so much anger in her which visible in her voice and face.

Humne bhi maar khai humne bhi padai ki magar aise nahi kari

Bold - So sorry to hear that!

I've heard about some parents making a "mark" on their insolent kids' skin with hot iron rod to teach them a lesson... Amd it works, they say

There are other ways of making kids understand. My parents never once shouted at me...

For those who are saying this is normal and they have turned out fine, I would like to point out... there is one thing that did not turn out fine because of such action...Your Compassion level..

This is how that little girl will grow up and think it is okay and she might treat her child the same way... and it will continue.. I hope there is stop to this...

Kids understand the language of love better than anything else...

Agar koi confusion ho aur poochho toh uspe bhi hadkana..Maar khana...It was only after 10th ki papa ke haath chalne band hue..

Aww Mish!! So sorry you had to go through that. It's so saddening. BIG hug to you. 🤗 It is so wrong. I don't understand why parents think it's okay to make a child learn like this.

You should see the reaction from some celebrities... (Do they always react like this when they see poor Indian street kids being mistreated?

And some comments on I-F below the article

" What can you expect from Indian Ba**** , a country that chooses mass murderer as their leader".? Says one comment just cz somebody said this is common in Indian households

Which is true, right or wrong this is very common in Indian households

Yes, this iscommon in India but not every other mother goes to the extent of agonising and terrorising the kid. As I said before I was hit all the time by my mother as I was one rowdy kid. But, that doesn't mean she hated me, that was the only way to control me and I turned out fine like every other kid around me.

Yeah , this is just a gentle hair tugging in comparison . My mum had more innovative ways to crack a tough nut like me .. Otoh talking about dad , one can look at youtube videos of Indian cops dealing with a rogue inside their control rooms (not exaggeragating) .

No regret in retrospect though ..

Oh my god, my dad never raised his hand on me accept that one time when he had a leg fractured and everyone was sitting in the lawn and I locked the whole house and slept like kumbhakaran at night as I got angry on something. I was 6 I guess and that day my dad hit me for the first and the last time.
My mom though, she used to hit me every now and then but when dad used to see her even shouting at me, he simply used to ask her not to shout at his girl. 😆

But, I guess we were hit to tone down the rowdy in us hwereas here the kid is being tortured for fun. It's like the mother is enjoying seeing her in pain.
