In 6h standard I copied my teachers signature on my text book as I forgot to get it signed and got caught. 😆 Parents were called and my father or my mother didn't even shout at me but just gave exasperated looks. 😆
my list of pranks range from betting to jump down from a two floor building to beating the crap out of boys. And I was a very blunt one in the family and used to constantly talk back to her and thats why she used to shout at me or hit me. Thankfully I never got abused because of studies.
I even flunked 12th standard but neither of my parents said anything. Rather my father encouraged me to drop science if it is too hard.

Haha thanks.
Once we all burnt a plot of land which was in our locality which was an innocent act of collecting the trash and burning it so that the locality remains clean but we didn't realise that the whole plot had 'sukhi jhaadiya' which caught fire and slowly the whole plot of land was on fire which alarmed the neighbours. You can only imagine the 'kutai' which followed next in every kid's house involved in that scandal. 😆

Ofc exceptional instance can always be there .

It is true in cases where girls are valued. In families where girls are unwanted children, they are subject to routine verbal abuse from the elders... Fathers don't hesitate to hit their daughters.. That too for very flimsy reasons...

@ Anjali - Fun kid you were eh😳I can SO relate to some of the stuffs. I grew up with 3 elder cousin brothers as we had joint family and was a tomboy. My maternal side relatives would pray to God and wonder that I am growing up with all my body-parts intact😛. Starting from not using the staircase directly and rather coming down through the railings slipping to hopping on a running rickshaw's back where the rickshaw was already carrying 2 passengers, I did it all.😃And once a while when my mom would complain to my dad about me getting the clothes extremely dirty after playing with my neighbourhood kids at the afternoon, my Dad would be like 'Come on, this is her age, let her enjoy, what dirty clothes, at her age we used to roll up and down the entire stadium', and next day I would roll across the entire stadium just to prove myself as daddy's girl😛😆.[/DIV]

Although for studies never had problem since I was actually sincere kid😲But ours was the first batch in school where all 7-8 toppers, instead of being jealous and acting bitchy to each others, were actually BFFs forever, we still are😆. So we always had been teachers' favourite and would be spared for occasional punishment for stealing fruits from nearby houses close to the fence of our school or playing pranks on teachers or coming to the Biology lab without a frog for intersection in a planned way and that time we really though aah nobody would catch our plan oh my😆. My only condition was if there was ever a guardian call, I would have to leave school and sit at home (ultimatum from daddy😆). So everytime I had to beg to my teacher to let the matters go and that I would do whatever to settle it that day without going to my parents🤣

Man, I feel sad for today's kids who get scoldings/beatings for every small small things. In my times it was like we almost grew up unmonitored😆

I can actually relate to everything you said. Kahin hum kumbh k mele main toh nahi bichadd Gaye the. 😆
Though I was never good at studies in school, I did good in grad and post grad because that was something I loved doing.
I was never a teachers pet because they all hated my guts accept for a few.
In grad school though, EV law was going on and we were making paper boats, planes and spit balls and having a gala time and while we were at it, our Dean was watching us the whole time. 😆 we got called up to his office and we had a whole speech prepared in our defence but he rather sent us to the HOD for punishment because of our good report. We went to HOD and she asked us why were we there. I said Ma'am you have to punish us because we were playing with paper PPlanesand spit balls in class and Dean sir has sent us. She literally had that W*F expression on her face. But she left us with a warning as she was too fond of us. 😆

Hello there, I am a girl indeed 😆 You ?

@ Anjali - 🤣 What's wrong in having some fun time in school I don't know. I wish teachers get that no one goes to school to study in particular, it was almost like play-time for me. 😆 Ours was a girls' school and known for discipline and there would be a girl 'Girl of the year' or something for every batch in 12th and just when we were wondering who can get that since all 7-8 topper girls were notorious, we discovered for our batch the whole award session for this had been skipped 🤣 It was so much fun 😆

Your incident reminded me of one of mine where we were punished for mass bunk during 11th standard and were asked to leave the class stand outside, and one of our friends was like 'let's go say sorry' and she almost got bullied by everyone for even thinking so since there was 99% chance after our sorry teacher would forgive us and ask us to come inside 🤣.

I miss our days. I can clearly see schools, studies etc aint fun anymore because play time has been reduced drastically.

P.S. - My play time for today almost up 😆 Please don't mind if no reply. 😃

I was scolded and beaten even though I used to top my class most of the times. I used to feel that the students who used to get lower rank were better than me. My self confidence got really affected by all that. Though that khoon nikalna and all never happened with me.
@PehchaanKaun I am a girl. 😆

Oh gosh! This video is so disturbing. What the hell with the lady?😡
The kid is doing just fine. She's counting the numbers just fine. And she's so little too.

And that's not how you help your kid with studies.

I know in India parents are not taken to task for such behaviour by the cops or any organizations, but I do hope parents like her are taught a lesson.

This is not OK. You don't teach a child by intimidation.

The lady is terrorizing the kid. Shame on her!
