Gosh!!...can't believe what some of you have gone through in childhood ( be it home, school ) :(( . and after reading these comments looks like many more must have gone through or going through same :((

I never took shit from Teachers ever when I wasn't the wrong one. I used to answer back and not take beatings even if that lead to her expelling me from her class for the whole year. When I am not wrong then I don't give a fudge.
Once my chemistry teacher mocked me when I couldn't answerher question and she told me why do I even bother coming to school and it is better I stay back home. I was like okay ma'am. And I didn't go to school for a whole month and a half and told my parents there was a cultural fest prep going on so studies are on hold. 😆
Theny principal came home and told my parents I hadn't shown up and.my parents glared at me as if they were about to chole.me.to death. 😆

Oh some teachers used to take some sadistic pleasure in beating and humiliating children..

There was one when I was little...Her target were two boys...She would make them remove their pants and then hit them with a stick on their legs..While making fun of them...

Then in 7th standard there was this math teacher who would hit anyone he wanted even without a reason...He hit me once or twice.. one girl couldn't hear properly after he slapped her..

Our class teacher in 9th used to hate us...Because some of us were transferred another section mid way ..(because we were good students...And we were few in number..Around 7 or 8)...She would find any slightest of reason to humiliate us..Try ro prove how "her girls" were better than us..(it was girl's section)...She even went as far as calling us characterless..

The chemistry teacher in 10th loved boys..She only wanted to teach boys... Completely ignored us girls and would only look at us to either scream or slap...

Jeez!! Many of you had terrible teachers!! Why would your parents stand that? I was once slapped by a teacher .. she wasnt even one of my teachers, she just came inside because our whole class was being noisy and she slapped me cos i was closest to the class door...
my father came to school the next day and raised hell.. i think that teacher was suspended for a couple of days...

I think once our principal was rude to my mother .. she had gone to meet for some reason- maybe because she wasn't satisfied with the kindergarten teacher.. and principal was pretty rude and dismissive... my father went and complained to the head of the school system...
there are limits that shouldn't be crossed as far as students are concerned... i feel for the kids in some of the examples posted above ...(especially the one about two boys forced to stripe down and hit on their legs!!!) sadistic bunch.. such people should have know business being anywhere close to children!

yeah they do. other teachers also just needed an excuse to punish/beat kids and someone asked why parents would stand that, well if parents are doing it at home then what will kids expect at school? to them then it becomes normal like its normal.

you can't even complain to them because you know they'll BLAME you for it so better shut up and get on with the program then spend the rest of your life trying to figure out why you did this or didn't do that, what's going on or why life is like this and so it goes 😭

Our class was the noisiest one and two chemistry teachers barged into our class and told us to learn the organic compounds nomenclature as they would ask us the questions. He wasn't even our teacher and we were in 9th standard. He asked a question to a girl.sitting next to me and when she couldn't answer he slapped her right across her face and he did it so harshly that it left his hand print on her cheek. 😡
He did the same.with a guy and because of getting slapped, the guy experienced a panic attack and fainted.

I guess right attitude is more important than having degrees with 99%. As long as one have good communication, basic numeracy and literacy skills they can survive anywhere in the world. What to do with grades when one is suffering and lacking confidence.
