What iconic films Anuskha has done that will be remembered for years?

According to stats and tables regarding footfalls, hairfalls, snowfalls posted on IF...Only bhai has been a superstar since his first movie...Apparently, in the day and age when there was no social media, no unnecessary hype regarding newcomers, bhai was a super-duper-mega star even before his first movie...And it was his stardom that made that movie a hit...

Aamir's first movie, QSQT, was a HUGE hit. Then he proceeded to do the regular masala movies. He was considered a good actor. Nothing great though. It was when Lagaan happened and he spun magic that people started taking him seriously as an actor. He too delved deep into the craft only after Lagaan, I believe. After that his filmography has been great/awesome. We'll all have to forgive Dhoom, I guess. 😆

I think it's kind of important to have both male and female teenage following to have crazy stardom. Like his nephew he started off as chocolate hero which the ladies loved but he couldn't get the male following until he started producing quality movies (even then it wasn't the teenage lot but overall mature audiences). SRK won male fans with his stalker, negative roles while salman needed to take his shirt off.

Aamir and Juhi were stars post QSQT...he did a mistake of signing 10-12 films post QSQT...all those films flopped or underperformed with the exceptions of Dil and DHKMN...Rangeela revived his career...with Lagaan he got recognition oversees...

TM how do we measure fan following...Aamir hardly used to b in any public platform nor he used to have interactions with his fans...just bcoz he doesn't wave to his fans from balcony or attend awards functions ...doesn't mean he has no fan following...yeah he attracts a lot of nuetral audience

in the early 90's FF's got media coverage...he had banned media in the mid 90's...post that he had hardly been in public platform for years till Ghajini...

Comparison was based on the versatility of their filmography. Anushka is trying to do something different with NH10, Philauri and now Pari, so did Aamir with Lagaan and DCH. Nothing to do with characters being iconic or not.

And of course, as how Aamir can be easily overshadowed...same is said for Anushka also.

there r lot of factors one of them is the writing aspect for that too so I don't get the obsession behind overshadowing (not directed to u,saying in general abt IF)...In Maqbool Pankaj overshadowed the likes of Irfan,Naseer and Om Puri,doesn't make him better actor than Naseer or Om Puri...Saif overshadowed every one in Omkara...even in the films Aamir got overshadowed he does make an impact as an actor...and there r lot of films too where he overshadowed others...

The stardom AK has is different from the other Khans,One could compare SRK and Salmans stardom as they are similar. SRK and SK had stronger personalities onscreen initially and commanded a very strong mass connectivity after their debut hence the strong emotional investment in them. AK is different as he's a bigger brand than he is a star. As a brand he has ridiculously strong value today since Lagaan, and that brand value has come after years of establishing trust among not just his fans but a huge sect of neutral going viewers.
