The avatar is from one of my favorite movies - Le Petit Soldat. So, SPOILER ALERT. It's from a scene where the male lead and female lead have a conversation on a range of things and this scene in particular is the man's reference to how for each person has layers, inside and exterior... and more importantly tells about we can never know what a person is thinking --- he tells this while making gestures with his hands on his face... and then after a few more moments into their lengthy comversation, he asks her(Anna Karina) if she loves him and she responds with that gesture.. 😛

The scene is better to watch :)

And yes, Anna Karina is one of the most charming persons I've ever seen in movies, although I am yet to watch all of her movies :)

Never been a fan of French movies or actors though... I've only seen a few but surprisingly I find them flaky, flippant and the acting for the most part amateurish even the great Jeanne Moreau 😕 Maybe they're too sophisticated for my taste 😊

But I don't think I've watched 'New Wave' cinema
