Priyanka and Deepika are trying to make a name for themselves and also trying to have a long term career and sadly that is not possible in Bollywood after a certain age. The uneducated people of India call actresses post 32(or even 30),buddhi, aunty and what not. The Educated ones are no different, they also have the same mentality and so does the media. It has happened to every big actress ,does not matter how talented or good at work they are. Ofcourse, the actresses can work in niche films or small budget films but the plum roles wont go to them.
In this scenario, if they are restarting their career, why are people(especially Indians) trying to pull them down or calling them wannabes and desperate flopstars? Atleast ,its better to be struggling than to be out of work in India.
If they stay there, people will call them "desperate flopbees" and if they return here. people will say "Hollywood bhaga diya, buddhi ho gayi, career is finished if they deliver one flop film like kangana did". What do people want?😕
Lastly, why are the people on this form so sardonic and cynical? Why do they revel in someone's failure? Why are they happy when someone fails? Is it because their own lives are flop? Do they derive vicarious and sadistic pleasure from someone else's failure because life has been harsh to them and they could not do anything about it ?

Good points. And I agree with everything.
Since DP and PC will be considered too old in BW in a few years, its better that they opted for HW where their career can continue till they are in their 40s, its possible there but not here.
40+ heroines in BW rarely get any lead roles in big movies, they get small budget or niche heroine oriented movies because the top heros will only work with 20 somethings.
Females like Jackie F get so many films because they are willing to do flowerpot roles in big star movies.
Particularly disgusting is the way people call the actresses old and auntie after they hit a certain age.
Kajol looks like a million bucks nowadays but why isnt she getting any major BW films?
Same with so many 90s and 2000s actresses, they all look good for their age but they wont even get 2nd female lead in any movie.
In Hollywood, 40+, 50+ actresses get great movies and roles and nobody calls them auntie or buddhi...at least not to my knowledge. Maybe some people on social media call those actresses buddhi too.
@Bold: That is the most pathetic trend of this forum. Rejoicing and celebrating any film's failure.
They seem to derive some strange pleasure from movies failing and some even declare a movie will flop when its announced or when trailer comes out.😲
Probably frustrations in personal life or intense dislike of the actor/ actress compels them to do this.
But a few are just trolling for fun.
People are also too obsessed with box office and dont care abt the quality of the movies and dont want to find out if they are worthy of being a hit or flop. So many times movies fail nowadays because of negative trending done online with malicious intent.
This schadenfreude is really ugly.
