Ummm..I live in America and people of all races and colors criticize and bash celebrities all the time. It is not just an "Indian" mentality. Call it internet mentality 😆

Lol exactly! Whenever I go on Dailymail or Hollywoodlife site americans too bash celebs very very harshly. I guess people do it cos a) either out of jealousy cos celebs are so successful and have everything, b) for timepass, c) some sort of hobby, or d) all people involved in celebs are negative/pessimists.

Even that aunty thing, I've seen it happening a lot around me that people call a guy uncle too if he's of a certain age. Guys are called uncle as much as girls are called aunty in reality. But yeah on this forum Khans are loved a lot and not called uncle as much as the older heroines are called aunty which is biased and horrible...

Social media is a form where a persona can put a facade and be some one else.

The ones who are bitter about their culture, surroundings, problems, rejection, tend to take it all out through social media.

Media is faceless, so you can pretend and say any thing with out the backslash.

and you feel powerful compared to your personal life. More and more people tend to be connected 24/7 to social media to combat their problems. May be they didn't even know they are doing it to forget their problems. Sad situation.

Successful people and public personas are a soft target.

Otherwise, all public people they ridicule over everything, has all the luxuries in the world already. Bollywood's most floppiest stars still have all the luxuries, though people call them failures and about to be finished. So it really doesn't matter to that public person.

I do think priyanka is way too overrated n a snobbish person in offscreen interviews n I have expressed this opinion here n elsewhere even when she was in Bollywood ...she has just added wannabe n desperate feathers to her cap by her attention seeking n a crazevto be accepted behavior in Hollywood n American tv arenas...does that mean I'm bitter...I believe u r as free to form an opinion about me as I am about priyanka or anyone else for that matter...nothing more n nothing less
