Just two days ago it was reported that fruit
juice vendor named, Vikram Singh had filed
an FIR against Shah Rukh Khan for allegedly
rioting and damaging the property at Kota
Railway station. FIR also stated that Vikram
Singh's trolley was also damaged in the
ruckus, all due to Shah Rukh Khan. But now
he wants to withdraw his case against Shah
Rukh Khan and not just that he says, he
wasn't even near his trolley and nothing
happened to it. The reason for his
withdrawal he sates is his financial status,
he told Hindustan Times, "I have sent an
application and said that I do not want any
action in the case." He also stated that he's
gonna consult his lawyer and look for a
smooth way out. Now coming to the
contradiction part, he says that on night of
the incident he was at his stall where he
works with his father. He said he had gone
to the spot without his trolley where Khan
was promoting his film. Singh is clueless
how the accusation of trolley damage
appeared in the FIR.
On the other hand, Circle inspector, GRP,
Kota, Gangasahay Sharma said that Vikram
Singh had stated in the FIR that his trolley
got damaged.
For the uninitiated, Shah Rukh Khan travelled
by August Kranti train from Mumbai to New
Delhi, promoting Raees in January, 2017.
The case was registered against the actor
two days back by the GRP on the direction
of a railway court, which heard a plea of the
vendor Vikram Singh at Kota railway station.
The vendor had alleged that Shah Rukh Khan
was responsible for creating ruckus at the
station.
"In his complaint, Vikram Singh alleged that
on January 23, when Khan arrived at Kota
railway station during promotion of Raees,
ruckus was created by his fans," the SHO of
GRP police station said.
Also stated in the report was, Vikram Singh
alleged that Shah Rukh, while standing at
the gate of the coach of August Kranti
Rajdhani Express train threw something at
the public and they rushed to grab it, and in
the scuffle, his trolley overturned and items
on it were damaged and he also got
injured. On the vendor's complaint, the case
was registered against Shah Rukh Khan
under sections 427 (mischief causing
damage to the amount of Rs 50), 120(b)
(criminal conspiracy), 147 (rioting), 149
(every member of unlawful assembly guilty
of offence committed) and 160 (committing
affray) of IPC. Also read: Shah Rukh Khan to
receive Yash Chopra Memorial award from
Rekha
Under sections 145 (nuisance) and 146
(obstructing railway servant in his duties) of
Railway Act, and section 3 (mischief causing
damage to public property) of the
Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act,
he said.
Investigation into the matter has been
initiated.
Now that the vendor wants to withdraw his
case, also he stated that nothing happened
to his trolley, Police should further probe
into this matter. Wasn't the vendor aware of
his financial status at the time of filing the
report or was it just a publicity stunt on his
part to cash in on Shah Rukh Khan's
popularity or he was forced into filing an FIR
against the superstar. Well, there are many
conspiracy theories surrounding it.
