I have high hopes in Veer doing this role better than anyone can imagine. But I'm worried that the biased industry will not acknowledge his efforts again. After all these years, they only chant one name. Despite some bland acting and flops, he is still preferred. I'm pretty sure KJo tried to underplay Veer's success. Some people crediting the success of Simmba to Sara is ridiculous.

I agree with this...but then as the nepo crowd says, the Audience matters the most... he may not get awards but his movies will do well, his roles will be appreciated and people will eagerly wait to see how he surprises us all with his role...

I guess similar thing happened with Deepika, but she rose above it all and became number 1 without anyone else's support... in Veer's case, Zoya, SLB, not Rohit, they all love him and want to work with him again...so that says it all...

Yes. KJo only attributed the director for the Simmba's success in his tweet. While it is true Ranveer's contribution did add to the rocketing numbers. Same with his insta post. He just said Ranveer will remain Simmba as if many such won't come and it is all director's credit. And i saw some articles crediting Ajay and Akshay for it's good opening! BOI doesn't even display the film in ther main page. Biias is huge. They underestimate him due to his goofiness which is just on the surface. As DP said he is very intelligent inside but he doesn't show it. He just enjoys others company with an intent to make them laugh at his own cost.

While everyone jumps to take credit for the film, Ranveer gave it to Rohit calling him the blockbuster king! Such humility and grounded nature surely takes him to heights. Iam sure as he has many such rare qualities in him. Very hardworking and very sincere performer as well. I hope this film becomes huge success along with appreciation for him. In his case every new film is being tested on him as his first film with credit going to directors and actresses.

Be Positive people. Have you seen the rapid increase in the number of his followers on Social Media? And this only on net toh socho aam janta mein kitna asar hua hoga!

Everyone who watches Simmba has praises only for Ranveer Singh's talent when they come out of theatres. Even the critics, I think all of them, have been showering him in praises. Whatever they say about the film, its always positive feedback for RS.

I think all this did not sit well with some khaandaani thekedaars & thats why they're trying to downplay him. But they cannot put him down anymore. Not after Khilji and Simmba in one year and now Gullyboy coming up. Kya jaata hai agar kuch deluded statements twitter pe aa gaye...Aam Janta will no longer be taken for granted by anyone.

Gullyboy will benefit from Simmba success and people will flock to watch RS for sure.

In one way I am glad these thekedaars are giving a challenge to RS. This way there is little chance for him to grow lax and he will always do his best in every opportunity. KJo and team might think they are able to pull down Ranveer but all they are doing is giving him the impetus to do even better. 😆 In any case, once someone works with RS, they seem to want to repeat the experience again. 😆

Does anyone know when the GB promotions will start? I want to sit with popcorn for that time. 😉

He is humble and is a sorted guy. He knows film is a collective effort and like he says he takes the middle ground, does not dwelve too deep into the result of a film.

I am glad he has some good projects in his kitty.

SIMMBA has made even haters sit up and take notice.. no more arguments about star power..

It is doing amazingly well in places which were not Rohit's forte..

Yes his followers are increasing , slow and steady. I am sure he knows what he is doing.

While younger stars who started after him jumped into the ad bandwagon with random stuff, he waited and waited.

Did his first ad with Durex and is a BIG BRAND ENDORSER now with many famous ones in his kitty.

Aam junta also is loving it. people are watching it again and again and that shows in the collections. Doing supremely well overseas too.. he gives love, he gets back the love..

people are loving SIMMBA and a lot of the credit goes to RANVEER, he is getting prasies from even high end critics for the role..

it is rohits best reviewed film till date.

GULLYBOY will be niche and promises to be a gem.. critical acclaim will be there for sure. BOX office will depend on the tone of the film and how zoya handles it..and also the music ( which will be an important part) it can go either way.. BUT BABA is gonna kill it for sure..
