Wouldn't Raees be the highest grosser for the month of Jan then if it reaches 130 cr by the end of its run? I think Airlift till now was the highest grosser for the month of Jan..right?

Its already the highest grosser of January to date, even miserly BOI has declared that

January is considered a dull month if you by what is said in the trade when it comes to the business aspect of releasing a movie in that month so the fact that it has become the highest grosser is quite huge man , considering it's not your typical commercial movie and also the fact that it clashed with another movie.

Its the clash mainly, without the clash it would have easily made 180-200 crores

I dont know what foolhardiness prompted RCE and Excel to clash with the other movie

They could have done so much better as a solo release, Raees is appealing to the masses and that would have been a huge factor in its favor if released solo
