I have stopped watching Komal's show but remember coming across an episode when he was talking about the business that Dear Zindagi would do and I think he was pretty accurate about the figure he came up with. Dear Zindagi did the kind of business he had talked about or perhaps did a few more cr than what he had predicted. Haven't watched his show in the recent past so have no clue what numbers he has been giving.

I guess in the real world, both films are on the verge of wrapping up their respective theatrical run. Of course, in the world that old bald guy lives, K must still be earning 10 cr per weekday and 20 cr on Sat and Sun separately.

But if Komal is stating that Kaabil's producer will earn a profit of 90cr then I don't understand what was the need on their part to exaggerate figures by the margin that they did. Then again maybe it was just about showing that they are leading and nothing else.

Sorry for asking so many questions but does Komal also factor in Shahrukh's fee when he is talking about the budget of the movie. Because at the end of the day that kind of does determine in this case whether it would be a semi hit or hit..right?

So, for me Raees in reality is a superhit IN ITS GENRE, that is, if I take a sample of all the films in bollywood history that belong to this genre, Raees could even be a blockbuster in fact.

Honestly, that is how verdicts should be given. Not by comparing apples and oranges, or soaps and shampo0s.

Yes Raees is a HIT in whichever way you see it

They wanted to maintain a facade that Kaabil won the clash that is all

@Human I think profit has to do with mainly how much the distributor made right ?

Actually his fee should not matter logically as he takes a percentage of the profit only
