I like him as a Actor, At some point he goes OTT.. but who doesn't?

He needs to work a bit more and connect with people, build his fan base more.. if he works in it for 2 years, he will be among the top..

HR is definitely a superstar.He isn't a mega star like the khans yet..only coz he does very few films and has become choosy after his flops. Compare his filmography with that of any of the 3 khans when they were into their 17th year in the industry..u will find the difference. Khan trio did 3-4 movies per year in their prime..were always around.. which isn't the case with HR.

I understand what you mean...He is def a superstar but not in the league of Khans. And the only reason for that is he refused to change. When he did a ZNMD that was a pleasant change. I hoped he will do more sensitive and intense cinema now but it was a downhill since then. Why is Akshaye succesful off late? He is doing realistic, relatable and meaningful films. Films that evoke emotions which are talk of the town. Just look at the films that succeeded this year. Pink,Dangal,Airlift,K&S,Sultan..None of them was sci-fi or action or revenge drama. People are vouching for realistic cinema which HR has failed to understand and take up off late. And he really disappointed me there. I expected him to be more sensible and volatile. But he thinks he can amaze the audience with same tactics of dance and action even now...Nope its not working. Its frustrating when he still talks of doing a krrish4 or a dhoom4...Dude please move out of that zone. You hv got amazing acting skills...use them. Connect with the audience.

He became a superstar right after KNPH!

Kites had the ultimate hype and it failed. Guzaarish same thing. ZNMD & Agneepath were hits but then he went way down. Krrish 3 fake collections. Bang Bang under peforming. MH a flop.

A superstar is someone who rises above the script and is larger than the character of the movie. People start relating the charac to the actor. In a way the actor supercedes the charac-which is what SRK and Salman have been able to achieve successfully. Hrithik had a huge hype with KNPH and even K3G but then came disasters with Kite, Guzarish etc. He came up with thrashy scripts and worse I guess is Mohenjadaro- what was he thinking while signing up this movie?

I always wished that he did more movies instead of doing just 1 movie in a year and sometimes 1 movie after 2 years
