He has done bad movies... in recent years.. I really loved znmd... but besides that... only jodha Akbar is worth watching..

His film choices were/are appalling at times and he lacks chemistry with most actresses baring Kareena.

One flop and he's not a superstar anymore? Only on this forum 😆

bad choice of scripts and even bad long breaks but end result being the likes of Bang Bang and Mohenjo Daro. But he still has age on his side, we should remember Aamir and Sallu picked up the megastardom at his age tbh after losing the middle years in shuffle and bad periods.
So if his next scripts are really top clash, he can pick up.
Indian audience is sucker for good revenge drama, if Kaabil is really good entertainer and tear jerker, he will back in track. We just have to hope Yami's character in Kaabil is really loveable ala Kalpana in Ghajni, if that happens, than nothing can stop the movie from being a blockbuster. a great story telling is about audience caring for the character and following it. If we really care for Yami's character and want Hrithik's character to take revenge for us. You know what I mean, the movie has to be emotionally capturing. We should not be like who cares. So onus is on Sanjay and script writer to make Yami's character as loveable and adorable so that when the incident happens to her, people will fume and get ragged.

simple reasons

1.audience refuses to look beyond the khans..however old
recycled they might be..

2.he took up too many home projects n banked more
on his dancing skills ..now that we have many good dancers
he is nt unique any more

3.poor scripts n repeating self..

In early to mid 2k, Hrithik was only behind SRK and way ahead of Aamir, Sallman. Everyone goes through bad phases including the biggest stars... Hrithik is was and will always be a superstar.

To the people getting mad over my question forgive me I should have been more clearer. I know Hrithik is a superstar in his own right but what I meant to ask was why hasn't or didnt he reach Khan level when he clearly has all the tools to be able to reach that level. No doubt he is superstar in his own way and forgive me for not being more clear
