It was produced by KJO. Obvly that was hard for you to grasp. If KJO's production house wants to be progressive go ahead, but if you're going include the director, why not include the person who is associated with it?

Yes it is hard for me to grasp whatever your point is. The article is about people who stood out in 2016. One of them is Fawad for his performance in K&S. He did it well and that's about it.

If you insist on getting KJo into it then okay, he produced this movie, and handled the subject well, and yes in a progressive manner. It doesn't say that KJo is the best person to handle gay characters ever or anything of the sort. Yes he has mocked gays in the past, and I'm not a fan of that. Hence I am not calling those movies progressive. 😊
