Why did Bollywood casted Fawad on movies?

Talented Indian TV actors usually don’t get good chances in Bollywood. So how did a Pakistani TV actor got lot of chances in Bollywood?

SRK , Irfan Khan, Sushant, Ronit Roy ; they were tv actors. Ayushman was a vj on mtv. Rajeev Khandelwal did Aamir . Fawad is good looking and acts well so why not ? That his surname is Khan probably helps too when it comes to marketing.

a lot of chances? Acted in only 2 or three movies. And he was good in them

None of these actors can’t be compared with today’s serial actors except Sushant and he became victim of nepotism. Poor guy suffered a lot before his death because he went to depression. He hardly had any movies when he died. Rajeev also didn’t get good offers. That’s why he went to do OTT. Ronit didn’t start his career on TV. He first started in Bollywood and then he went to do TV after his Bollywood career flopped. So he didn’t shift from TV to Bollywood. It’s the other way. I don’t know about Ayushman and Irfan Khan. Never heard that they did TV serials. And SRK’s case was different. I heard his family had connections with politicians and producers, which is why he got a break in Bollywood. He did serials like over 30 years ago. So his situations cannot be compared with the current actors. Most of the current TV actors actresses usually do horror erotic movies or item songs. So I am not sure how Pakistani TV actors get good work in Bollywood.

For the thousandth time Sushant was no victim of 'nepotism'. Ekta Kapoor went out of her way to cast him in Pavitra Rishta even though the channel wasn't keen on it. In three years he ended up doing movies ,Kai Po Che was offered to him. He worked with Yashraj ,Dharma and Raju Hirani. Not long before he passed he himself had said he was discussing plenty of upcoming projects. His depression had nothing to do with his career ,at least in terms of offers. He was successful, wealthy and famous. He had a girlfriend. That's a lot more than what the average engineering drop out in India can dream of. And we don't know if he 'went into ' depression. Maybe he was just good at masking it until then.

I haven't watched tv in years but the last time I did it was awful. Pakistani shows were a lot better. Maybe that has something to do with it. Shweta Tiwari did a movie in Pak btw.

Is Fawad even a big deal in Pakistan anymore? I highly doubt it!

Fawad has gotten replaced by the likes of Bilal Abbas Khan, Ahad Raza Mir and Wahaj Ali to name a few…
