Tum Bin Franschise is never abt amar-piya-taran...abhigyan-piya...its always abt shekhar-piya...shekhar-taran...amar was part of piya-taran's life while both shekhars were destiny into piya-taran's lives...who changed the perspective of their lives...if its not destiny...neither amar died in TB 1 nor amar met with an accident in TB 2...shekhar would not have entered the two ladies lives sweep off their feets with their charm and endearing nature...its destiny...abhigyan in TB 1 and amar's comeback in TB 2 is a twist...its always shekhar-piya and shekhar-taran love story...only difference shekhar due to guilt could not confess his love in TB 1...in TB 2 shekhar due to guilt sacrifice his love and set things the way it was before

A2 was boring...i felt asleep half way...only songs were good

Tum Bin 2 i watch for aditya...

everything was going perfect...taran clearly loves shekhar but the ending screwed it up...i felt like strangling AS neck for giving such crappy ending...it does not even make sense...no depth of amar-taran relationship was shown...shekhar says she loves amar more when its clearly shown everything associated with shekhar affects her...even in gurudwara she confess to amar just to stop shekhar from going...he was ready to go...

In her new business opening...all while her heart was feeling the pain of shekhar...she keeps on looking at shekhar...whose eyes was red and moist and manpreet...gurpreet notice it when shekhar-taran were dancing...they could feel the pain of shekhar-taran so was papaji...this scene was just perfect with teri fariyaad ..the only one part that i got connected and my eyes moist just like it did for koi fariyaad...the pain was perfectly portrayed...

shekhar is in guilt trip thus he listen to his mind and sacrifice ...

I want to know during business opening...was shekhar drunk?...his eyes were red and moist while dancing...i felt he was crying becos manpreet notice it

amar-taran united giving reasons...she loves amar more...but there is no such scenes of amar-taran...the entire film dominated by shekhar-taran...their depth of relationship and connection...the ending is plain stupid...

the film is more abt setting things right rather than choosing love...practical decision from the mind...everything belongs to amar incuding taran so shekhar gives back everything to amar which was snatched from him due to the accident

before i start my review...i would like to say...though i didn't like TB 1 ending...i will anytime choose TB 1 ending over TB 2...TB 2 ending is just plain stupid...i will choose milli jumping with joy that shekhar is fine rather than shekhar choosing amar for taran w/o knowing what she feels...what is her decision...what she wants...its her who should be choosing not shekhar

i liked the film as its shekhar-taran love story...thats enough for me as Tum Bin franschise is always abt shekhar-piya...shekhar-taran...regardless who the ladies end up with...amar..abhigyan are just twist in their love story..TB 2 is all abt shekhar-taran love story and their conflict and dilemma over choosing love or doing the right...its shekhar-taran heart touching love story...i liked it...throughout the end its only shekhar-taran love story...there is depth and connection in their love story as their love story started with pain...such relationship are very deep...

Shekhar- unlike Prishekhar in TB 1...Adishekhar is a practical man...he listens to his mind most of the time rather than his heart...while Prishekhar is a emotional man...he listens to his heart rather than his mind...Adishekhar thinks alot before doing...thus whatever decision he took in the end was based on his mind...he is guilt ridden and he can't be selfish to snatch away taran from amar...shekhar is always selfless...thats what we love abt shekhar...that nature win our hearts in both Tum Bin...Adishekhar is a complicated man unlike Prishekhar who was straight forward and simple...its not an easy character to play...aditya nails it...shekhar is a practical man

Amar- the character is very bland...there is no shades nor layers in the character...there is no depth in the character...furthermore shekhar's powerful character totally dominated amar's character...shekhar-taran love story totally dominated amar-taran love story...infact there is no love story b/w amar-taran...its all abt shekhar-taran

Taran- she is nothing like piya...even EK leading ladies stuck in a love triangle knows whom they love...but this women doesn't know whom she loves...what she wants in her life...the problem with taran...she loves both men deeply...both are living in her heart and soul and she don't want to loose both...yes she is with amar...at the same time she doesn't want shekhar to leave her...she loves amar...she also loves shekhar with the same depth...infact more...this is one reason she doesn't want to let go of shekhar...she confess her love for shekhar to amar just to stop shekhar from going...he was already abt to go after the opening...but she stop him from going...confessing her love for shekhar was the only option...coming to her relationship with amar...there is no depth in their relationship except for friendship...i only see friendship in their relationship not love...even after amar's comeback...she is more into shekhar than amar...her heart and eyes only finding shekhar...feeling his pain...finding excuses to meet him...talk to him...cares for him...she is lost if shekhar doesn't come...he is drunk it affects her...his indifferent behaviour affects her...everything was abt shekhar-taran that there is no depth in amar-taran relationship except for friendship...shekhar-taran love story totally overpower amar-taran story...there was more depth and connection in shekhar-taran love story than amar-taran story...she is confused lady start till the end...she loves both men...she is with amar...she will care for shekhar...she is with shekhar...she will care for amar...shekhar is gone...she will secretly loves shekhar in her heart w/o anybody knowing it...only she knows it...thats taran...she loves both mens...both are her shadow...she can't live w/o both...the problem with taran's character...AS didn't make her character strong enough to make her own decision...she sways along the flow...thats what happened in the end...if only there is more elaboration in taran's character...we might know whom she chooses actually...whom she loves...her character is so confusing...start to end...i believe she loves shekhar...amar is her first love and being the first love amar has all the rights on her...

papaji...gurpreet...maanpreet...harry miyan...i love all their bonding with shekhar...especially shekhar's bonding with the sisters...they really love shekhar alot and is a ardent shekhar-taran shipper...i love shekhar's bonding with harry miyan(gurpreet's fiancee)...he is the only friend who knows and understand shekhar's love...pain...sacrifice for taran...infact papaji..manpreet...gurpreet...harry miyan everyone can see that shekhar-taran are in love with each other...are in pain due to amar's return...only dumbo shekhar could not see and seeing amar-taran together...he feels the best decision is to unite amar-taran..let her go back to her first love...while all others can clearly see taran loves shekhar...i love shekhar bonding with papaji...he is truly a son to papaji during amar's absence...papaji cares for him alot...even after amar's return he cares abt shekhar...he cried when shekhar went away...what really touches me was the family did not show happiness of amar-taran uniting...they were crying becos shekhar went away...thats what shekhar achieve...families love...he is a loner...his good heart and nature won the love of a family and taran...they all love him...the family is the only one who knows why shekhar sacrifice his love...they the only one knows noone can love taran like shekhar does...

the story is more of a undo version of TB 1 maybe AS had this script on mind while directing TB 1...in TB 1 amar died...piya had no much confusion...she was not in dilemma...here AS thought what if amar comes back...what will piya-shekhar do...what will be ultimately the decision of piya-shekhar especially shekhar since he is guilt ridden...for the accident and falling in love with amar's fiancee...so TB 2 is made putting all this points in terms of shekhar-taran...basically a change in the story of the prequel...if in TB 1...amar comes back...Prishekhar would have done the same that Adishekhar did...bringing piya back to her first love...for whom she loose herself due to him...he will set things right for piya-amar...thats what we saw b/w shekhar-taran-amar...its a throwback of the prequel...its not even a new story

It was a stupid ending...becos shekhar listen to his mind rather than his heart...if he really listen to his heart...he would not have cried in the plane badly...he just set things right due to his guilt...he can't be selfish to snatch away amar's fiancee as it was becos of him amar met with an accident...the family went through so much of pain so does taran...its his guilt that makes him do the right rather than choosing love...amar is taran's first love...its the right thing to do which is bringing back taran to her first love...amar has all the rights on taran...he set things rights...selfless shekhar...taran clearly chooses shekhar...she wants to be with him...when shekhar told her that when she told amar abt shekhar...didn't she feel shattered...she gives a confused look...did i felt that way?...it can be this way...now that shekhar is going away...didn't she feel shattered?...that was clearly shown she felt shattered...one part of her soul going away from her...the ending is not convincing at all...whatever shekhar did was due to his guilt...he sacrifice his love due to his guilt...he can't be selfish to snatch away amar's happiness...the part literally makes me laugh when shekhar told taran...that he loves her but not more than she loves amar...i found it funny becos noone can love taran like shekhar does...selfless love and sacrifice is true epitome of love...thats shekhar...the family understand why shekhar did that...

I wish the ending was changed...shekhar should have united with taran...it can be shown love happens second time too...in the case of taran-shekhar it did but got ruined due to guilt angle...

if there is continuation of the story...it will be shown...amar-piya together as a happy couple...but her heart is still yearning and pining for shekhar...she still secretly loves shekhar...how to forget that man whom she falls in love with when she was loosing herself in darkness...how to forget that man who made her love life and fall in love again...how to forget that man who made her realise her identity as a women...she will secretly loves shekhar

its a sheer disappointment...its not connecting at all...except for the business opening part with shekhar-taran that really moist my heart...the rest were playing on random scenes and a wrong couple

Jagte Jagte EK Umur(taran's pov)- its the start of the song thus it was place on the right

Meri Haar Saans(taran's pov)- such a random scene...like seriously...i could not feel anything on it for amar-taran...it would have been better if it was played on shekhar's drunk scene after taran gives back the watch...the tears of shekhar was spot on...i wish it was played on him for this part of the lyrics

Mujhse Kuch Teri Nazar(shekhar-taran's pain)- wow...this was bang on...the only part that i get connected and totally moist my heart and eyes becos of shekhar-taran pain...the picturisation was so beautiful...the pain in shekhar-taran eyes was beautifully shown...aditya-neha nails it...the way shekhar fakes a smile and his eyes full with pain...aditya nails it...especially the part 'mujhse kuch teri nazar pooch rahi ho jaise'...the pain and tears in shekhar eyes melt me...manpreet...gurpreet...papaji was looking at shekhar-taran and the pain they were going through...they clearly could see how much shekhar-taran loves each other but holds back due to amar...in this sequence taran's eyes was only on shekhar...the entire family notice her eyes only looking at shekhar...feeling his pain...while shekhar's eyes was moist and red...it seems like he did not sleep too as previous night he was drunk...this what Teri Fariyaad/Koi Fariyaad is all abt...the emotions and depth of feelings of shekhar and his love(piya-taran)...not playing on any random scenes for the sake of playing...what i really love was manpreet...gurpreet...papaji noticing shekhar-taran's pain...this part was dedicated to shekhar-taran...it was bang on...it brought a koi fariyaad vibes for me...i guess this part sums up the end...taran's eyes asking shekhar what should she do...love(shekhar)did find the way for her yet again...this my most fav part...

Zindagi Tez Bahut Tez(amar's pov)- another random scene that make no sense at all...the one with shekhar-piya melted my eyes when shekhar goes away and piya standing alone...this one was plain stupid...

Woh Nazar Chupke Mujhe Dekh Rahi(amar's pov)- this entire sequence destroyed for me...aashim killed it...so bland...dull and fake...seriously its bad version...i could not feel any emotional connect unlike TB 1...uff priyanshu just brought tears in my eyes with his pain and desperation when he runs back to see piya walking away and looking at her secretly...his eyes portrays pain and desperation perfectly...its one of the most epic scene and the song gel perfectly with the momentum of the scene...this one is a let down...i wish it was played on aditya...he would have nailed it...he is damn good in emotional scenes...he would have been near priyanshu if this lyrics were played on him

the visuals were disappointing thus i could not connect except for shekhar-taran part...AS should have simply played on shekhar-taran...

shekhar's bonding with family in the cake scenes...the dialogues were meaningful

the whole sequence with hindustan meets pakistan...shekhar-taran eye-locks...the sisters teasing taran abt shekhar

shekhar-taran watch scene and the entire sequence of taran telling shekhar abt her aporoval

taran's care and concern for shekhar when she gets to know he is drunk and ask him to go home straight

the entire sequence of taran meeting shekhar...he is telling her that he is going back to india...taran giving back the watch...she hugging her sisters and crying that shekhar is leaving after opening...shekhar is drunk and crying(AS told in one of his IV...aditya really was in tears while doing this scenes...all of aditya's crying scenes is real)

shekhar's drunk scene...'you know how 'much i love u taranjee'and falls on the bed in drunken state

Climax and Ending

in the end...its shekhar who chooses not taran...its his guilt makes him take the decision...it should be taran's decision and her voice...whom she loves...whom she wants to be with...not shekhar's decision...she clearly chooses shekhar and she loves him too...shekhar has so much guilt that he took the decision for her...decision of making her go back to her first love amar whom have the most rights on her...being practical and real...thats how it should be...setting things right the way it was before shekhar's entry...a decision made by shekhar and not taran herself...if it was taran's decision...the entire ending makes sense...it was shekhar's decision thats where its a let down becos taran was all time confused when shekhar was talking abt amar and his decision to go away...'pagal sahi mat kar...pyar kar'...its the most illogical line...shekhar saying this to taran...this can apply the same to shekhar...don't do the right...just love each other...all he was doing is setting things right...even if amar ask her the same question...tell me taran you don't love shekhar...i will stay and accept u...she will give the same confusion expression becos she loves both deeply...both are part of her soul...she cares for both...she can't afford to loose both...yes she is with amar...but her heart will still love shekhar...'separation makes heart and love stronger and fonder'...thats shekhar-taran...they are separated but deep in their hearts...they will still love each other...the ending is more of practical and realistic rather than decision took from the heart...its more of the mind..

like i say even in TB 1...if amar is back in piya's life...piya will be torn b/w two men...she loves both men..she will go through the same situation that taran went through...Prishekhar would have done the same that Adishekhar did...uniting piya with her first love and he goes away loving piya all his life...just like Adishekhar did...uniting taran with amar and goes away loving taran all his life

TB 1 is all abt unexpressed and silent love due to guilt...TB 2 is all abt selfless love and sacrifice due to guilt...

Aditya-Neha...they have a natural beautiful chemistry...they literally lived the character of shekhar-taran...they become the characters...its their chemistry that everyone ships shekhar-taran till the end...

they need to work together again in a romantic love story w/o love triangle

Aashim-Neha...i can't see chemistry b/w them...there is no depth in amar-taran relationship...it looks bland and dull...amar has nothing much to do except waiting for shekhar-taran decision...

by the way aditya-neha kiss way more passionate as shekhar-taran rather than aashim-neha peck as amar-taran which was dull and taran distance herself from him...

Tum Bin(on audio)...AS wasted this song on uneccessary visuals when it can be solely picturised on amar-taran and the depth of their relationship...which could convince me that yes amar-taran should unite...only golden opporturnity was ruined...one could not connect with amar-taran...except they are best of friends...Tum Bin Jeeya Jaye Kaise was perfect on amar-piya and their depth of relationship in TB 1...my eyes got moist...at that moment i felt amar should come back for piya...such was emotions and depth shown in the song for amar-piya

shekhar gifts this tag to amar-taran well its his practical mind...but the truth is this tag belongs to shekhar-taran...there is a reason why amar-taran fall in love...they were family friends...love blossoms...they got united in the end becos amar was taran's first love...its all filled with reasons...but shekhar-taran..it just happens unknownly to both hearts...w/o any reasons...they were strangers and bonded over pain...there was no need to fall in love becos taran's loves amar...but love just happens w/o any reasons...thats what happened to shekhar-taran...love just happens with each other w/o any reasons...'pyar reasonable nahin bewajah hota hai'...the tag belongs to shekhar-taran
