I dont think he has poor sense per say. But he mostly does yrf or dharma films, same genre films and do favours which has his hurt his recent BO success. Plus a member mentioned here that he felt CDI would not do well. Well I wont blame him for thinking so because Swades flopped. He literally shone in that film(his best acting till date) and the fact that it flopped hurt his ego alot I guess. Anyways Swades remains my most fav movie of his followed by CDI. I also liked Dil Se and KHKN. I was just watching Swades the other day and I actually loved the chemistry between Srk and Gayathri. It wasnt OTT and extremely subtle with zero awkward intimacy. Miss those times when love scenes used to be simple and pure. These days its all about the liplocks.

Big directors favour him big time. Today he is a superstar only because of Yash Raj & Dharma. And yet, his fans claimed Bollywood never bothered about SRK. He is alone and bla3.

^This is quite hilarious! Big directors favor him? He did Darr when most didn't want to do the project. He did Baazigar which was rejected by quite a few. He did Deewana which was again a role that was offered to someone else to begin with. Yash Ji only worked with him after Darr perhaps because he liked the guy as an actor and on a personal level. Big directors don't favor him because he is so and so's son or nephew or whatever. They favor him because he has worked with them when quite a few didn't care to. They favor him because he has worked with them on their first film , whether that be Karan's KKHH or Adi's DDLJ. They favor him because the work he has done with them has brought them both BO success as well as critical acclaim. I'm sure he'll be the first one to say that a huge reason why he's a superstar is because of Karan and Yash Ji. But it goes both ways especially when it comes to the likes of directors who made their debuts with him. He agreed to work with Karan , Adi , Farah when they weren't big names in the field of direction so let's give credit where it's due.

As for his script sense , saw a comment here talking about this notion that he chooses movie from a businessman's perspective...lol! He has done films like KHKN , Dil Se , Swades , Paheli , FAN , Darr , Baazigar , Chak De...these are just some of the examples I'm citing here as each one of those had a risk element to them when it comes to the commercial factor or the role itself. In Darr and Baazigar , he was doing roles that had negative shades to it when a lot of his peers didn't want to be associated with that kind of cinema. This is someone who has always tried to do a variety of roles. You will succeed sometime at the BO and you won't at times, that's just how it goes. Yeah , he has rejected quite a few movies that went on to do great but he has also done quite well for himself based on the movies he has done.

i dont think so. most of his films got iconic status .highest success rate .awards .what else an actor needs?

RDB mein he was offered Madhavan's role. He didn't want to play a supporting role to Aamir's lead role. I don't think he would have gotten anything from RDB. It is ok.
