^Nah even geniuses can't overcome improper education and other hardships. There is a reason why there are hardly any Nobel prizes or new inventions or advances coming from India despite a billion people.

Even the smart sometimes have to leave India first before they can really do something.

In that sense, rich people always have an advantage. Even if you're a genius, if you're stuck in a bad situation, to rise out of that is extraordinarily difficult.

^^ no dear, history proves that most geniuses rose above their conditions and resources to excel and prove the world. The only reason India is not getting Noble Prize is because its not emphasising on research. The emphasis is on getting things done.

^That is not true at all.

I would say it's because there is no original thinking in Indian schools and universities. It's all memorizing like robots and doing whatever you're told. The concept of thinking for yourself is not there even in desi families, forget school or public places.

For average people, their life path is already set. Go to school, regurgitate whatever you're told and get whatever percentage to get into medicine or IT. Get a job in MNC, get married to mummy daddy's choice, reproduce and start the cycle over again. Anyone that veers from that is ignored or insulted for the most part.

It's a whole shift in mentality that's needed, not a small issue.

&Anon39: Hmm no I would disagree. I've seen people from very humble backgrounds crack the UPSCE & go onto shine in the most elite govt services in India & then scoot off to the likes of Harvard, Stanford etc. The onus of performance solely lies on the student, no amount of books, good professors will make you learn.

One makes their own destiny & it needn't be through the biggest brand but yes, rich children do have many advantages spread in every sphere.

But yes there is a basic need to revolutionise thought/social process in India which will take atleast a few hundred years!!!!

But that's my point. People with that kind of ability left the country and they're not coming back.

Whatever they accomplish in their field will be credited to their adopted home. Also only a tiny percentage can claw their way up like that when the system is not in their favor at all.

Average people can't. The 1% or 2% or who do this are the cream of the crop. But for the general average public, they will be held back by inferior schools and teachers. In that way, life will always favor rich people who can get out and do what they want.

Trips: I'm getting something is right now. Everyone seems so weird ever since NA and this whole HR thingy started. Jaya and Aish haven't been in-sync since Aara has been born. Like she takes her mom everywhere. Abhi just seems moody but I don't think there's anything to worry about.
As for Aryan and Navya, I don't think they've hooked up yet but I thin they will. I think he's more into goris right now 😆

Anon39: Nope. They returned & got picked up by the likes of Ambani & Tatas & earn a fabulous amount every month but that wasn't my point-

If you mean the poor of the poor, then they exist everywhere, why restrict yourself to India? But if you mean the middle class then I agree. Because it is curious to see how the most ambitious things, generally, are done either by the poor or the rich, it is the so-called middle class if you are talking of the class-system, that become comfortable & do not want to progress beyond their version of the white picket house.

Yes Life is terribly unfair & will always favour the wealthy in every way, but if you've enough will, you can change your circumstances. I've seen it not once, twice but many times in different ways to make me a Believer.

Het: He does "like me white chicks." 😉 but I do feel they'll hook upto. Tbh it's very difficult for someone as headstrong & bullish as Ash, to accept a dominating sourpuss like Jaya B. they've had their love but there never has been a basic compatible sync since day one & never will be, however many steps she walks behind Jaya B or however sweetly she talks. 😆

What is interesting is the very very obvious coldness between B sr & Rai Sr. Could it be that the Panama papers spelt havoc? Somehow all that is tied up here too along with their own issues... The HR issue definitely has created a lot of ripples!! Ever since a few years that she has been living with the Bs skipping Delhi, it was highly obvious something was up but am I the only one who just loves SBN & HR?! He can't do better than her & I do hope they get married!!! She deserves all the happiness in the world but I really really doubt Indian Traditionalist & mellow Thackeray version of B sr will allow his daughter that happiness.
